1. Traditional food of Spain: “Paella”, “gazpacho” and Spanish omellete.
The “paella” is the most representative dish from Spain, mostly from Valencia. It’s prepared
with rice and a delicious stir-fry. The best thing of the “paella” is that you can do it with
a lot of types of food: prawns, crabs, cod, lobster… Spanish people always do it with molluscs
or fishes.
The “gazpacho”comes from Andalusia. It’s a soup made with raw blended vegetables and it is
served cold. The main ingredients are tomato, cucumber and garlic. It is eaten mainly in the
South of Spain, and in Portugal too, particularly during the summer because it is refreshing and
cool.
The Spanish omellete is made with eggs and potatoes. Sometimes it is also made with onions
, and green or red peppers. It is fried in oil and often served cold as an appetizer. It is eaten in Spain
and in Spanish-speaking countries, like, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay...

2. Traditional food from Brasil:
Brasilians love eating “bacalao” at Easter.
One of the most typical fish of Brazil is called “bacalao”, they usually cut it into very little pieces
and mix it with a salad that is made of sewn potatoes , black olives, chives …
We eat turkey with potatoes at Christmas.
Other of the typical food in Brazil, is the turkey: it is usually at its point and it’s served with a delicious liquid of the potatoes
that usually is to its surroundings.
We also eat cake with nuts for Christmas dessert:
After turkey, we usually eat a cake with nuts, it is usually a bit hard and you see the big nuts inside.
