2. Where is the iberdrola tower?
The Iberdrola tower is located in Bilbao in the Basque Country. It was built in 2007
on March 19, and was completed in 2011. Its architect is César Pelli and the
official inauguration, chaired by King Juan Carlos I, was on February 21, 2012.
It is the eighth tallest skyscraper in Spain, as well as the tallest in the north of the
country.
3. Characteristics
Its architect, as well as the frustrated Foral Tower, is the Argentine César Pelli,
specialized in vertical architecture, and author.
The tower is 165 meters high spread over 41 floors and 50,000 m², with an
isosceles triangle shape and slightly curved sides.
It is located on plot 204 of PERI de Abando, where most of the town's office
buildings are located.
