Pierce the Veil - New Album Inbound!
Last time we seen Pierce the Veil was in London 11/04/2015 at The Forum where they
literally PIERCED through the high expectations of many of their fans, throughout England,
emerging victorious with hundreds of fans crowded around the stage absolutely screaming
with energy. Eye witnesses even say the boys absolutely rocked out the joint with mosh pits
spreading like wildfire among the fans causing bruising, fractures and a lot of sweaty
clothing... Absolutely kickass! BUT NOW, they’re back! Even more ruthless than before with
their new album “Misadventures”, aiming to pierce the top charts around May 13th 2016.
Who’s excited? We can’t hear you, what did you say? Oh right, that you’re absolutely
psyched to sign up for a viewing of their gig in London this year? Thought so! The boys are
going to be touring around the UK starting 1st of July in order to hype us all up for a sick time
at the O2 in Leeds on the 2nd of July, The Forum in London on the 4th of July and the O2 in
the great old Birmingham on the 7th of July.
We managed to get exclusive interview footage of the band members featuring his majesty
Tony Perry and his sidekick Vic Fuentes. Of course we’re kidding, Vic Fuentes is the mascot.
SIKE! Vic Fuentes is a genius with the guitar followed by his best rock buddy Tony Perry that
blew us away with the rest of the squad during a gig in Leeds Last year. Obviously we can’t
show you the footage here but you can go and see the exclusive interview footage on our
new website at www.MoshPit.com/exclusive/content/. The very important kickass things
we picked out from the interview were key quotes from the band members and their very
own perceptions of their lyrical masterpiece songs. “During the opening of ‘The Divine Zero’
the first line is; ’maybe I could swiminto your thoughts like your drugs do’. “You see some
fans misinterpreted the lyrics so that they can relate them to their personal lives, where in
reality this specific part was aimed at my ex-girlfriend that was very twisted… It wasn’t the
all-time high of my life exactly.” – said the lead guitarist Tony Perry during the interview.
Meanwhile Vic was always a big critic of the way companies that are dumping waste into
the marine life. The song’s lyric ‘Oceans of kerosene will soak into me’ was described as a
“cheap little dig” at the major companies responsible for the waste dumping, “I love the
marine life, my father used to take me fishing every week when I was younger so I’ve really
bonded with it” – said the ruthless yet caring Vic Fuentes.
In other news, we’re expecting a THRILLING experience following the drop of the
masterpiece, which of course is the ‘Misadventures’ album, due to 12 singles coming out
with it. What’s that sound? Ah, yes! The fans are tearing down their wallets with
excitement! There’s no time to lose, book your tickets now at www.Ticketmaster.com
before they completely sell out!
