The document discusses attire recommendations for male and female presenters of a TV news broadcast. For the male presenter, it recommends a blue shirt, grey blazer, blue tie, and black shoes to match the logo and create a formal impression for an older audience. The attire is meant to resemble standard TV news attire and signal that the broadcast will provide serious, uncensored news. For the female presenter, it recommends a colored blouse, black blazer, black skirt, and black shoes to also appear formal, trustworthy, and professional while showing minimal skin.

Costume
1. Male Presenter
The attire will consist of a white/blue shirt, black-greyish
blazer with a blue tie and black shoes. The blue tie and
possibly the blue shirt will match our logo which will
reinforce the house identity that our TV news broadcast will
possess. The overall attire will be used to make a formal
impression where news for an older age-group of 15+ will
be presented. Also, the attire is very elegant and
sophisticated which will create a good impression on the
audience allowing them to trust the presenter and keep
engaged with the news being presented.
The usual attire in existing tv news media is similar to what
we plan to use. This will be convenient as people will be
expecting our broadcast to give out serious, un-censored
news rather than gossip or kids news.
2. Female Presenter
This is the usual formal attire seen in TV news broadcast that
is worn by the female presenter. It consists of a coloured
blouse, black blazer, black skirt and black dolly shoes/or
heels. This again shows a formal approach therefore re-
assuring the audience that we’re indeed presenting serious
news that is uncensored. The attire is smart and elegant
therefore representing the presenter as a trustworthy
person that the audience can engage and interact with.
The attire is worn to show professionalism as the clothing is
connected with barely any skin showing presenting the
broadcast to be sophisticated and educational.
