constantly evolving and more devices have access to the internet.
To develop an impactful website it must be ensured that the content on the website provides
information on the company and its services.
Brand loyalty is very important to customers therefore it is crucial that the customers feel connected
to the brand, this can be ensured by adding an about us section on the website helping to build a
strong customer and company relationship.
Contact information is an essential component to a website, it is a great strategy to improve the
credibility of the company as long as it is detailed and displayed prominently on the site.

I looked at multiple student portfolio websites to gain inspiration and
help me visualize how I would like my website to appear to the public. I
made sure to specifically check the features of the website to help give
me an idea of what features I will need to add to my website in
comparison with the key features of a website. Each of these websites
featured an ‘about me’ part where they gave information on
themselves like where they were born, why they are interested in
media, their education, previous work projects and what they are
currently working on. These websites also featured a portfolio often in
the form of a showreel, highlighting their best previous work in an
attempt to attract potential customers or employers who are viewing
their sites. One final thing I noticed on these websites was that they all
provided a link to their contact details like their email address,
workplace, mobile number and even their LinkedIn so that it gives
anyone who is viewing the site the chance to get in touch. I also
specifically noticed that the websites were not hard to use and had very
smooth navigation throughout.
