Information
“Dharti Namkeen” was started on a small scale in the year 1993. It was
started by Pratapmal purohit in the year 1993. The company has been
running through 30 years already. Dharti Food Products Private Limited is
an unlisted private company incorporated on 19 June, 2008. It is classified
as a private limited company and is located in Surat, Gujarat. Its authorized
share capital is INR 10.00 lac and the total paid-up capital is INR 7.20 lac. It
is a partnership firm.
Dharti Food Products Pvt. Ltd. Has two directors – Shankarlal Bherulal Dave
& Babulal Pratapmal Purohit. With the cooperation of all of you, “Dharti
Namkeen” created a new name and a new identity in the year 2008, which
became known as “Dharti Food Products Pvt. Ltd.”.

• Minimization of cost
• To continue providing good quality of products for years to come
VISION:-
• To be ranked highest in taste and quality of products.
• To make products in such a way that it could satisfy needs of buyers of all level
• Finance department is headed by Mr. Rakesh Dave.
• The main role of finance department is to prepare and provide information regarding
their financial performance. Other than this they perform following tasks
• Preparing Annual financial accounts (Trading, P&L and Balance sheets)
• Preparing Cash Budgets
• Maintaining records of their International transactions
• Completes Tax returns
• For Financial records they are using the following software's.
• Tally Prime
• Systems, Applications & Products in Data Processing (SAP)

PRICING METHOD:-
Dharti uses marketing-based pricing method
Market pricing is a strategy companies can use to establish costs for their goods and services based on other sellers' prices within their
market. Market pricing depends on key elements like consumer demand, competitor activity, brand loyalty and the value of goods sold.
In distribution network:
Base price of the product + 50% is MRP
But the retailer not sell at accurate MRP of its product. Retailer sell on 30% average of the price of that product.
Different margins are set according to different states:
50% margin in south Gujarat state
45% margin in rest of other cities of Gujarat
40% margin in Maharashtra
35% margin in All over India
It includes Transportation Cost and Packing Cost
HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT
• Functions: Recruitment, Training, Motivation and Maintenance
• Dharti food Pvt. Ltd. has about 35 employees in the organization.
• Training Process: trainee is placed on regular job and is taught necessary
skills.
• The HR also has well maintained safety equipment’s for the employees.
• Dharti has few policies for their employees such as:
1. Workplace health & safety policy
2. Dress code policy
3. Child labor policy
4. Company data protection policy
• The employee or worker does receive a pay increase despite the fact that
there is no regulation against promotion or transfer.

DHARTI FOOD PRODUCTS PRIVATE LIMITED does not required high qualified labours so they don’t
follow any specific recruitment process as well as selection process. They hire labour who aren’t
qualified or have any specific educational degree without interview.

• Production unit of Dharti is divided in two floors where the production is
continuously on for 8-9 hours.
• The first floor consist of manufacturing of all the varieties of Namkeen
production and second floor is of various Sweets production they produce.

Continuous Process Machine:
These machines are designed to handle continuous
flows of food ingredients, allowing for efficient and
consistent processing, cooking, or packaging of food
products. In Dharti, this type of machine is specially
used on events or festival such as on Diwali.
Safety Department -
* There are total 14 fire extinguishers in the company.
There are 2 types of fire extinguisher which are used at the production place
1. Class F fire extinguisher
2. Electrical fire extinguisher
In DHARTI FOOD PRODUCTS PRIVATE LIMITED, they provide bouffant cap and gloves to the workers while working in the production
department.

Workmen’s Compensation policy: -
The Workmen's Compensation policy provides payment for legal compensation to Employees or their dependants in case of injury and
accident of the employees at workplace (including certain occupational disease) arising out of and in the course of employment and
resulting in disablement or death.
YES, the company provides this policy to their employees.

PURCHASE DEPARTMENT –
As Dharti is manufacturing industry so it mainly purchases the raw materials. The raw material purchased such as oil, salt, besan,
etc. All of them are purchased from branded company only as they consider the quality of their product as best.
As Dharti is food manufacturing industry, the company order raw material like:
Major Raw Material:1. Gram flour 2. Oil 3. Salt 4. Sugar
Minor Raw Material:1. Red chilli powder 2. Turmeric powder 3. Chaat masala 4. Coriander 5. Potato chips- Potato powder 6. Other
seasoning
The Purchase process at DHARTI FOOD PRODUCT PRIVATE LIMITED includes purchasing of raw material such as oil which is been
purchased from ADANI OILS; TATA salt is been used for production of namkeen; sugar that is used in production is purchased
from NILKANTH and spices are purchased from Gandhi Private Ltd.
Dharti re-order whenever the stock of raw material is about to get finished, the re-ordering time can differ as per the demand, it
can be early too and can also be late than previous one.

(mall) from a small shop in Surat city. The Dharti family of Surat
residents express their heartfelt thanks for this fame.

The company has been running through 30 years already. Dharti Food Products Private Limited is an unlisted private company incorporated on 19 June, 2008. It is classified as a private limited company and is located in Surat, Gujarat. Its authorized share capital is INR 10.00 lac and the total paid-up capital is INR 7.20 lac. It is a partnership firm. Dharti Food Products Pvt. Ltd. Has two directors – Shankarlal Bherulal Dave & Babulal Pratapmal Purohit. With the cooperation of all of you, “Dharti Namkeen” created a new name and a new identity in the year 2008, which became known as “Dharti Food Products Pvt. Ltd.”.

In distribution network: Base price of the product + 50% is MRP But the retailer not sell at accurate MRP of its product. Retailer sell on 30% average of the price of that product. In Dharti, this type of machine is specially used on events or festival such as on Diwali.

The raw material purchased such as oil, salt, besan, etc. All of them are purchased from branded company only as they consider the quality of their product as best. Other seasoning The Purchase process at DHARTI FOOD PRODUCT PRIVATE LIMITED includes purchasing of raw material such as oil which is been purchased from ADANI OILS; TATA salt is been used for production of namkeen; sugar that is used in production is purchased from NILKANTH and spices are purchased from Gandhi Private Ltd. Dharti re-order whenever the stock of raw material is about to get finished, the re-ordering time can differ as per the demand, it can be early too and can also be late than previous one.
