1) The document discusses plans for a magazine called "Contemporary" featuring artist Eliza Stephens.
2) The front cover will feature Eliza looking at the camera in a fashionable outfit, with font, colors, and style inspired by Cosmopolitan magazine.
3) Issue 1 will discuss Eliza's singing career and new song, as well as topics on mental and physical health and fashion trends. Issue 2 will update readers on the success of Eliza's song and her rising fame, with a contrasting photoshoot image.
3. My cover
• My magazine cover will be a copy of cosmopolitan covers, I will be
using the above examples as inspiration for colour themes, fonts, and
cover images/stories.
• Same for the content's pages and then website eventually
4. 1.0
• Magazine covers normally show a celebrity but eliza the girl I will be
featuring has also written and produced a song so I will mention that
in the front cover, the image itself will be simialr to those of
cosmopolitan, she will be looking at the camera with an outfit,
a colour theme to the magazine and all the codes and
conventions similar to that of cosmo.
• Issue 1 and 2 of 1 magzine
• Name: Contemporary
5. Name of magazine
• Temptation
• Accumulating

• Mania
• Contemporary.
8. Photoshoot
ideas
• Model – Eliza Stephens
• Camera angle: mid shot of clothes + face looking directly at camera.
• Mise En scene:
• Theme: Fashion lifestyle
• Cover stories: Elizas singing career and song + Mental and physical
health and fashion trends, another picture of her for contents page
• Issue 2 will be Eliza again about how Eliza's song blew up and she is
now mega famous and the photoshoot of her on 2nd issue will
contrast that growth.
• 4 Main images, 2 front cover images, 2 Context page images.
9. The name of my magazine is called
Contemporary
• The Word means happening, excisting or happening
now.
• The name fits because my fashion magazine features
related stories to the "now" and topics that
are trending.
10. Front page.
• For filling brief: I want to maintain house style which is more
important than having radically different mise en scene: including
casting and they are different people with different races.
• I like the cosmopolitan font because its aesthetic to look at and is
simple. The colour schemes they use are always co-ordinated and
sometimes match what the model wears, so I tried to recreate this.
• I also used some signature poses used by other models.
13. Front cover details
• The font I used is Franklin gothic extra condensed. It’s a simple font
but the slimness of it makes it slightly more feminine and it looks
aesthetic and minimalist
• The cover colours co-ordinate with a colour on the model (face or
clothing) and also include a couple of other colours which are all
repeated.
• The positioning of the photo is bang in the middle and the angle of
the photo taken is a mid-shot level with the model suggested
audience is on the same level as model on front cover.
