1. What have you learnt about technologies in the
process of constructing this product?

2. I used Photoshop a lot during the construction of
my magazine. When I started my music magazine
had a very basic understanding of Photoshop that I
enquired from the college magazine task. This
helped a bit but as I made my music magazine I
found out more things you could do on Photoshop,
which helped to make my magazine better.
I mostly used Photoshop to construct my front
cover. However I did also use Photoshop to
manipulate photos for my contents page and
double page spread.

3. I used InDesign a lot as well, I mostly used
InDesign for my contents page and double
page spread. I had no knowledge of InDesign
before I started making my music magazine.
However, we had a workshop on InDesign and
after that I was a lot more confident on it.
InDesign was very useful for page layout and
making text look professional e.g. drop caps
and text wrapping round pictures and pull
quotes.

4. Prezi I really liked for presenting the work I have
done. It is a fun and interesting way of presenting.
It isn’t limiting in the fact you can upload pictures
videos and text. To make some of my prezis more
interesting I even put a background some on it in
the music genre of my music magazine (house
music).

5. Scribd was a way I uploaded work onto my blog
when I first started media. It isn’t and
interesting way but it did work. And it meant I
could write a piece of work on word instead of
putting it straight on my blog, which was
sometimes easier.

6. Blogger was the way I handed work I, I uploaded
it to blogger. Since the beginning of the year I
have been using blogger so no I feel like I am
pretty strong on using it. Blogger is a new
technology I have started using this year, before I
started media I hadn’t even heard of it so this is
definitely a skill I have developed this year.
