There are many light beers out there in today's market that have their very own unique taste and
exquisite way to advertise their product. Within the light beer market the two well–known beers are
Bud Light, and Coors Light. Bud Light advertising appeals more to being a very social and party
intended beer, Whereas Coors Light takes more of a traditional stance. Bud Light on the other hand

My Favorite Dog
I had always wanted a pet, specifically a dog. But based off of my parents reactions to my questions
it seemed like I would never get one. I had made it clear to my parents that I absolutely loved golden
retrievers. I never expected to get one.
December 13 of 2015, my parents had stepped out to "run some errands." This meant that I was
forced to babysit which was not my favorite thing to do. My younger sisters Abby and Camila were
a pain to watch. In fact they are so bad that one day Abby got super glue in her eye. Little did we
know that day was going to be the day we got our first dog. My parents spent the whole day in
search for him and they would not give up.
The pet store that we bought him from, Puppy Love, was absolutely terrible. After buying him we
found out that he was abused his whole life. Simba was only 3 months old and he was feed once a
day, hit, and was not cleaned up after. His life was miserable and as my mom said "even though we
didn't buy him from a shelter, I still feel like we rescued him. After millions of name choices, we

Workshop in OPPI 2016 Conference
The Golden Horseshoe Area is identified through the literature in this part because of its special
economic status in the province. The province of Ontario initiated a coordinated review of the
provincial four plans in 2015. Members of the public, stakeholders, municipalities and organizations
provided feedback on how the plans are preforming and how they may be improved (MMAH.,
2016a). To support the co–ordinated review, Ontario appointed a panel, chaired by David Crombie,
to develop recommendations on how to amend and improve the plans. The Panel has completed its
work and submitted the report Planning for Health, Prosperity and Growth in the Greater Golden
Horseshoe: 2015 – 2041 (MMAH., 2015). One year later, the updated 2016 Proposed Greenbelt
Plan was issued on May 2016, and asked for public consultation again until end of Oct 2016.
I have attended the workshop of discussing the reviewing process of the Plan and thus have a
reflection on this topic. I will go through the review process of the coordinated land use planning in

As the twenty first century begins to mirror the economic trends seen of the 1920s, the ideals of the
age are reinvigorated and reflected. This is seen highly with Baz Luhrmann's 2013 adaptation of F.
Scott Fitzgerald's classic novel, The Great Gatsby. Originally published in 1925 , the story of Gatsby
has been reformatted for the screen several times. Each with an individual spin on the representation
of the novel, the visuals used in the films reflect broader implications into the societal ideals and
memories based on their place in time. For example Gatsby, 1949, begins with a funeral in which
the attendants are "dressed in fashions of the late 1940s" and the music in the film is "big–band
arrangements of the '40s," all because, as Richard Maibaum put it, "The studio feared doing the
thing in the true 1920s milieu. because they thought that people would think... [the visual aspects of
the film], were ludicrous." For the time the producers felt it more appropriate to transfer the current
fashions into the film because the public memory of the twenties was clouded due to the Great
Depression of the thirties which was historically more prevalent in their minds.

How Did The Mongols Conquer Such A Vast Empire
During the years 1237 to 1240, the nomadic warlord group known as the Mongols invaded and
assimilated the principalities of Rus into their vast empire, known as the Golden Horde. The

room for the warring principalities to compete for power. Over the next few centuries, Moscow,

In recent years a controversy has broken out over genetically modified organisms. The concept of
genetically modified (GM) crops is isolating the DNA of plants and taking the best traits of both
plants and fusing them together to create a bigger, longer lasting, more efficient crop and increase
land productivity. Some people believe them to be dangerous and others believe they are harmless
and even beneficial. I also met a friend a few years back who is allergic to GMO. I decided to do my
research paper on the topic of GMOs, whether or not they are harmful, and the different viewpoints
people have concerning them. I chose to evaluate the Institute of Responsible Technologies' article
titled GMO Education written by Jeffrey Smith for my source critique, and assess how educational
the source is on this topic. This article starts with a description of GMOs and explains that the two
main traits that have been added to plants since GMOs have been introduced are herbicide tolerance
and the ability of plants to produce their own pesticide. It states that ninety–four percent of soy,
ninety percent of cotton and canola, ninety–five percent of sugar beets, eighty–eight percent of corn,
and more than fifty percent of Hawaiian papaya that are commercialized in the U.S. are genetically
