2. When around/operating camera
equipment:
• If not using a tripod, make sure the camera strap is
worn when camera is in use
• When the camera is not in use, assure the lens cap is
on securely
• Do not touch bulbs of lighting equipment or
projectors, they can get very hot
• Don’t look directly into lighting equipment or
projectors, it can cause damage to the eyes
• Keep all spare lenses, bulbs and camera accessories on
a raised surface and never on the floor
• Keep all liquids away from filming/lighting/electrical
equipment
3. When working around a band setup:
• Be careful not to trip over any leads/cables
• Do not lift amplifiers or other heavy
equipment on your own – heavy lifting
requires at least two people
• Store all guitars, amplifiers and drum kit safely
and securely before and after shooting
4. In the studio:
• Don’t alter the mixing desk/levels without
permission of the sound engineer or producer
• Keep all food and drink away from studio
equipment
• Be cautious of faulty electrical apparatus and
alert someone if these are discovered
