Block Island house sells for
$4.75 million

PROVIDENCE ­­ A house on Block Island has
been sold for $4.75 million, the highest price
paid for a home in New Shoreham in the last
three years, according to the Statewide Multiple
Listing Service, Lila Delman Real Estate
International announced Thursday.
The house, at 919 Coast Guard Road, is part of
a 14.82­acre oceanfront compound. The Delman
agency said it represented both sides in the sale, as Rosemary Tobin represented the sellers and
facilitated for the buyer. Online assessor records indicated the house had been purchased in
2013 by David J. Miller of New York for $3,625,000.
Tobin also recently listed a 12­acre oceanfront property at 966 Dorry’s Cove Road for $5.9
million, the agency said.
