This document outlines the details of a study visit organized by the European Libnam project. The visit will take place from March 18-22, 2014 in Truro, UK at Woodland Valley Farm. The visit aims to support businesses in green building practices and use of natural materials. The schedule includes presentations on building with cob and clay, demonstrations of digging clay and making cob bricks and an oven, tours of local straw bale and natural building sites. Participants will work with clay and tour local buildings. Travel, lodging and meals will be covered by the Libnam project, but entertainment costs are the responsibility of participants.

VISITS
• Presentation
of
the
European
Libnam
project
The
objectives
of
LIBNAM
are:
1) to
support
the
competitiveness
of
businesses
and
their
"green
know-‐how
"
with
a
view
to
thermal
regulations
(passive
construction)
in
2016
in
England
and
in
2020
in
France.
2) to
promote
the
use
of
natural
materials
in
low
impact
building.
The
project
involves
structures
that
accompany
and
prepare
businesses,
prime
contractors,
clients,
building
professionals
and
future
building
professionals
to
economic
and
environmental
changes.
Showcasing
exemplary
building
sites,
study
visits,
demonstration
actions
and
the
creation
of
resource
centres
are
the
main
activities
of
the
project.
