Mind Map Analysis
The notion of coping with stress consists of a number of techniques that may or may not help a
particular individual in areas moreso than others. The mind map primarily demonstrates different
ways to relieve stress. Each category in the map outlines methods to cope with stress and is ranked
by levels from most to least significance. The first section of the map is classified as knowledge
because in order to manage stress, the individual requires a positive mindset. Positive thinking is
associated with the category of knowledge and is proved throughout the journal article, A Resilience
Program for Clinical Placement Learning. The authors analyse a study that is conducted by Martin
and Marsh using positive psychology. The researchers ask the...show more content...
The reason for this is because being organized provides people with a sense of security as well aids
people to organize how they structure their everyday life. Time management is a central factor that
can relieve stress. An organized schedule allows preparation time for the individual to plan and have
enough time to achieve what they need to accomplish. For instance, in football there is a total of
four quarters and during this period the players have time to complete the game as well incorporate
additional advertisements and commercials. The concept of the four quarters demonstrates time
management as it provides a structure of what needs to be done within that given time. Furthermore,
structure and time management are extremely important when it comes to trying to relieve stress.
This can be displayed through the article, Decreasing Students' Stress through Time Management
Training: An Intervention Study as the study involved undergraduate students that are analysed
before and after a training class that they are told to attend. It is measured through various studies,
one being a scale that see the sights of time management behaviours and how it corresponds to the
perceived stress scale. The test also focuses on procrastination and how it is detrimental to one
ability to learn effectively. It revealed that time management reduces stress as it allows the individual

Perceptual Mapping
Tool Summary: Perceptual Mapping
Objectives
A detailed explanation of how perceptual mapping works, what it does, and what are its critical
assumptions
An application of how perceptual mapping was used, i.e., describing an application of the tool in
detail, focusing on procedure, calculations, results, and interpretation.
Background
Branding; is defined by Charles W. Lamb, co–author of Marketing: sixth edition; as a name, term,
symbol, design, or combination thereof that identifies a seller's product or service and differentiates
them from competitors' products. Perhaps, the successful of many businesses has been attributed to

Moreover, the through factor analysis would provide a rotated component matrix (VARIMAX) for
each of the attributes assigning coordinates, allowing the individual to plot each of them into the
perceptual map. Additionally, a component score matrix would be posted as two additional columns
to the original data, providing coordinates for each of the brands.
By plotting the coordinates for both brands and attributes in their respective quadrants, the
perceptual map is, simultaneously, being drawn. Hence, other brands could be group by
competitive clusters and positioning to which the brand at study could be compared in relation to
other base on preference. Moreover, the map would provide good and bad gaps, and
recommendations could be made as how to occupy good gaps and avoid to fall into bad gaps base
on which attributes or perceptions to improve and/or communicate. Additionally, recommendations
can also be made according to which positioning is desire, according to which exact quadrant to
move into and exact location on the map.
However, the recommendations and positioning strategy are based on a set of three assumptions.

Disadvantages Of Mind Maps
1)Mind Map – A mind map is an outline used to visually sort out data. A mind map is mostly made
around a single theory, drawn as a picture in the focal point of a clear scene page, to which related
representations of plans. Mind maps might be drawn by hand, either as "harsh notes" throughout an
address, gathering or arranging session, for instance, or as higher quality pictures when more of a
chance is accessible. Mind mapping is a straightforward strategy for attracting data charts, as
opposed to keeping in touch with it in sentences. The charts dependably take the same essential
organization of a tree, with a single beginning stage in the center that splits out, and divide over and
over to get the complicated data. The tree is made up of...show more content...

Disadvantages: –Lack of non linear associations. Numerous duplicates of the same documents
consume up space yet you require certain records in various catalogs. Therefore we have typical
connections. Mind maps need such limit. As of now they have a tendency to depend on labels,
names, necessity colors and so on. Each of which overlook what's really important of the visual
representation of data to some degree. I would not have any desire to be without labels and so forth
however on their own they are inquisitively inadequate for separating information in a guide. –Not
able to make weighted associations. The capability to allocate quality or imperativeness to things
in courses other than their progressive position is not a typical characteristic of brain maps.
Clearly you can style your ways and hubs to speak to the quality or significance of an association
however this has no backend esteem so to talk. I would love having away from public view

It’s All in the Mind Essay
It's All in the Mind
What is a mind? How is it related to a body? Descartes answer was substance dualism. A person
consists of an immaterial substance (mind/soul) attached to a material substance (a body). But this
thesis fails a crucial test. An immaterial substance cannot move a body; therefore a mind cannot
move a body. I shall assume that to have a mind one must first have a brain. This is a materialist
perspective. Some weaknesses in this perspective will be described. I shall argue that minds do not
necessarily exist as entities, that we nevertheless are aware of our own mental events and that we are
aware that other people have similar events.
The mind cannot exist like a body or a collection of cells in a body. If it did...show more content...
Secondly, if someone else were plugged in to my brain so that they registered all I saw and
thought, then they would register all the mental acts as theirs. They would say, 'That sky was blue.'
If pressed about the feeling of blueness as compared to their own feelings they would be forced to
admit that this was their own feeling of blue.
Suppose two people were connected by an apparatus which allowed one person (A) to monitor the
other's (B's) mental events – thoughts, feelings, sensory experiences and so on. Further suppose
that the apparatus is graduated so that A can gradually increase the input of B's thinking and
experience into her own brain. Assuming that A was in a resting quietly in a cocoon, at what point
does A become fully aware of the distinctive feel of B's mental events? The question misses the
point because A's experiences can only ever be her own and no one else's.
Let us imagine that by some advances in miniaturisation and virtual reality techniques we take a
tour of someone's brain. The guide points out a series of neurone firings, which we see as a
pattern of lights in a network: he tells us that the subject is seeing some blue sky. "Fine," we say, "
but where's the blue?" We might also have asked, "Where is the person? The individual?" Our poor
guide would be just as baffled. "Blue is that set of flashing lights," he says.
Of course, we are inside the individual but

Magic Of Mind: Video Analysis
Psychology is the study about life, according to the video called Magic of Mind. The video
explained several types of psychology such as: psychodynamic, humanistic, behaviorist,
sociocultural, cognitive or biological. The most interesting school of psychology to me is the
humanism. Humanism according to the book called Psychology says, "Humanism is a perspective
within psychology that emphasizes the potential for good that is innate to all humans" (page 19).
This shows that no matter how bad we are there is still good in us. For example, I encountered a
costumer at my work that was not in a good mood. She gave me an attitude and negative comments
along the way. When she was at the counter, I was the one who received her payment. When the

Mind Mapping Artifact
A mind map is a diagram used to visually organize all types of information. The idea been thought
of is written down and then linked by curves to its major idea or fact, this will then create a web of
relationships (Business Dictionary 2016). The purpose of mind mapping is that it can improve my
knowledge, memory and ideas to further extents.
Commonly, mind mapping can be used in a variety of ways such as note taking, problem solving and
brainstorming. This artifact can impact on my learning positively as it can enhance my understanding
better. With mind mapping I would be able to organize my time effectively which can keep me
ahead of my studies.
Mind Mapping can enhance my confidence, focus, memory and understanding skills. Throughout this

It certainly doesn't mean that they have the same powers and threats which our parents had! Yet our

In a primitive existence, where threats to life are common, it is wise to set up procedures which

Essay on Maps
The early modern period encompasses roughly 300 years of history, but within this brief period
emerged the modern world as we know today. The foundations for national boundaries, the
existence and confirmation of faraway continents, the establishment of colonies all took place in
this period, and it was a time when globalization in the modern sense came to appear. This period
was the harbinger for the interconnected society which we live in today, and it was made possible
by enterprising nations and adventurous individuals who chose to navigate the known world and
aggregate the knowledge of the cultures therein. The collection of knowledge was aided by the
arrival of new and more accurate maps which lead the way for future generations to...show more

Maps have defined boundaries and helped keep peace for centuries, but as the world grew smaller
due to the advent of inter–continental trade, they came to embody the globalized culture existent
today. A vivid example of amap which depicted this interrelation is Father Matteo Ricci's world
map form 1602, which depicted the world in a very truthful manner. This map is important for
many reasons in itself, but it was the first map of the world in Chinese, meant entirely for China's
consumption and as such held China as the center of the map. To the Chinese, Ricci's map had once
a geographical value beyond computation , for it was the first time they had the opportunity to
envision what the world was like beyond their borders. In contemporary maps, China always appears
to the right, always to the east, but in this map of the world, it is depicted in the center, with the
Americas in the east. Father Ricci noted the Sino–centric vision of the Chinese and accordingly
positioned Asia in the middle of his map so that it would not be rejected by Chinese scholars. As
this map was produced for the express purpose of being a western tool molded to eastern
fundamentals, in essence to provide the Chinese with the capability to understand where it is that
they stand in the world, as they converse with s foreigner from thousands of miles away. Edward
Rothstein, of the New York Times, noted that this was the first eastern map to showcase America,

What Is Mindfulness Essay
Mindful Eating Is The Key To Weight Loss
What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is the state of being aware of the present or what you are going through. It is a
psychological procedure, in which you focus your attention or mind on the experiences happening in
the very moment.
Psychologists and thinkers have termed mindfulness the best way to the achieve the greatest
happiness and wisdom in the world. This can be achieved by practicing meditation the Buddhist way;
however, various other meditation techniques can also take you closer to the state of mindfulness.
Simply, mindfulness is being conscious of your mind, body, and soul. Even simpler, when you attain
mindfulness you are aware of the whats, whens, wheres, hows, and many other puzzling thoughts
related to your mind and body.

To sum up, here are a few tips to shift your focus on eating mindfully –
пѓјUnderstand, there is a difference between hunger (needs) and cravings (desires).
пѓјRemember, food is food. There is no good or bad food. It's just the call of your body, which you
have to control mindfully.
пѓјWhenever and whatever you eat, remember that you have already eaten it. Now, it's time to allow
your stomach to digest it.
пѓјPreparing food or not getting food isn't a point of stress.

Philosophy of the Mind
ThePhilosophyofMind
Introduction
The philosophy of body and mind has been a highly debated topic since its launch in the 17th
centaury by Rene Descartes. Since then, many philosophers have written on the subject matter and
many theories have emerged as a product of this lively debate. In this essay, I will analyze and
critique a selection of philosophers who ponder on the body–mind topic since the 17th century, and
ultimately evaluate Paul M.
Chruchland's claim that folk psychology should be eliminated and replaced by completed
neuroscience.
For the purpose of this essay it is important to set the defying parameters of folk psychology, as

discovery: "I am now awake, and see some truth; but since my vision is not yet clear enough, I will
deliberately fall asleep so that my dreams may provide a true and clearer representation."
(Cottingham, 223). Here
Descartes' view of the mind over the body is evident but a connection could also be made to an
interesting scientific discovery, Dimethyltryptamine (DMT). DMT is a hormone in the brain, only
secreted during birth, dreams, and death. Besides its presence in the brain, DMT is also found in
plants. Doctor Rick Strassman researched
DMT extensively throughout the late 1900's and even applied it to test subjects to observe results.
He found that the secretion of DMT causes a state where one's connection to reality as we know it,
the physical laws of nature, are abandoned completely, a state of being where one is confronted by
the unconscious mind. "DMT allows contact with dark matter or parallel universes, Strassman
argues that DMT must have provided an adaptive advantage to our ancestors in allowing access to
alternate states of consciousness and thus perhaps greater problem–solving abilities and greater
creativity."(Flores 2002). Being qua being perhaps, as

My Future Essay: My Vision Of The World
Life sometimes seems scary. The fear of failure and the fear of the unknown make a person rethink
its choices and goals, this happens all the time. As time passes, be days, moths, years or only simply
one experience can change our whole vision of the world, about life, about what really matters and
consequently about our goals. Throughout my whole life I have questioned so many aspects of my
life, of existence, and consequently about my future. I never stopped wanting to achieve something
big, that could change the whole world, some amazing adventure that would be the one thing that
would give birth to all the amazing things that could happen next. As time passed I realized that
life itself is one big adventure, and that what I will do every day will matter for me and for the
people around me. I realized that life is not some perfect movie where there are good guys, bad
guys and that in the end of one amazing journey everything would be solved. It may be a childish
vision of the world, but it had motivated me for years to do the thing I believed would help me
achieve this, and to believe in myself. Obviously as I grew up, I saw what the world really looked

Organizational Behavior Mind Map Essay
Organizational Behavior Mind Map
In our Organization Behavior class we were asked to create a mind map incorporating all the
important and relevant topics we have covered during the course, and how they relate with the other
topics and fit in the bigger picture of organizational behavior as a subject.
Whilst drawing my mind map, I realized that most of the relevant topics of OB really fall under 4
main branches – Organizational psychology, development, theory and human resources. I believe
that these are the 4 most important aspects of OB simply because business is about people. All
organizations comprise people; and the organization's success (or lack of it) really depends on the
interactions of the people within the organization, and...show more content...
The social, political, technological, and economic environment around it and the community to
which it belongs and affects also impact the organizational culture. These frames set the foundation
for which the organization develops its own culture on. For a harmonious and smooth functioning
organization, there needs to be congruence within this culture that is created. Hence, the values and
beliefs, formal and informal systems, strategies, outcomes and thinking and characteristics of the
organization need to be aligned, and to fit with each other to create any form of congruence. What I
have come to realize during this OB course is that congruence is an absolute necessity in any type of
team or organization. Congruence enables consistency in what the beliefs of the organization are and
the resulting actions taken by the organization, enabling the members to understand what to expect
from the organization and the people working in it and also what is expected of them.
The second main branch in my mind map is of organizational development. This branch has been
included as every organization in today's age looks to be what is known as a "learning
organization". A learning organization constantly looks for ways and means to improve itself. For
improvement, very often change is necessary. A requirement for change can stem from fear,
miscommunication, a lack of creativity or out–of–the–box thinking and a non–conducive work
culture. However, a need for change can

Reflection Paper : Mapping My Life
I have not realized how much I and the environment are connected. When mapping my life, I find it

However, I have trouble relaxing since most of my days are working or school. The only free time I

time can be hard, but I get energy from my hobbies. That is the reason I put on my ecomap. It is
the way I recharge myself. Now, the most stressful I will get is transportation. I have a unique

is adopted. When I was looking at the map, I chuckled because I forget we adopted her. The cat's

Nazi Ideology And The Nazi Party Essay
The leaders of the Nazi party made it one of the most infamous groups to lead a nation in history.
The horrible things done under their rule and with their stamp of approval has made the term Nazi
one of the worst possible. The amazing thing about the Nazi party is that many of the main aspects
of their ideology existed in Germany even before they formed or came to power. Some of the major
aspects of Nazi ideology such as antisemitism, the desire to expand the German empire, and the
belief in the strength of the Aryan race existed in Germany years before Adolf Hitler was a name
anyone in Germany would recognize. The most widely known aspects of Nazi ideology are their
hatred of Jewish people and their tireless efforts to exterminate the entire race during their rule.
This distinctly Nazi belief of antisemitism is not one that the Nazis created. It instead had existed
for several thousand years throughout Germany and all of Europe. As Stackelberg and Winkle
explain, "The origins of the stereotype of Jews as immoral materialists can be traced to the
unwillingness of Jews to give up their religion in favor of world–renouncing Christianity"
(Stackelberg and Winkle, Anti–Semitism, p. 2). This feeling of hatred towards Jews persisted for
centuries, especially in countries that had a majority of Christian citizens. There were a number of
people that continually perpetuated these anti–Semitic views with the works that they published and
their actions towards Jews. A great

could provide people a way to purify their soul and save them from the sins. As a result, various
people are making the connection with the Church for their religion beliefs and appreciation to
Jesus. And the Church is still processing missionaries to "make disciples of all nations" (Matthew

1.Renaissance – The Renaissance was a time in which Medieval Europe transformed into more
modern times. Renaissance means rebirth in French. Medieval Europe had been fragmented and
feudal with an agricultural economy, and the church controlled its thought and culture. During the
Renaissance, Europe grew national consciousness and political centralization. An urban economy
based on organized commerce and capitalism and a secular view on life emerged. The Renaissance
showed the birth of humanism, which revives the use of classical writings for learning.
Materialism also emerged during this time, people started to focus more on themselves. And
individualism and skepticism also came about. Banking was a great supporter of the Renaissance,
Italian bankers were bankers of the pope and all trade was going through them. Cities rise in
importance and farms get closed off and are owned privately which moves toward a market
economy. The Renaissance was not an economic boom because the advancements were happening
in different places, at different times and at different rates. Literature was very important during
this time. Literature was starting to be written in the vernacular and the German printing press was
developed. More and more people became patrons of the arts and art became more for the people
than for religion. Science was slowly changing and being slightly more accepted even though it was
still morally wrong to most to believe that earth was not at the center of the world

Mind Map For Essay

  • 1. Mind Map Analysis The notion of coping with stress consists of a number of techniques that may or may not help a particular individual in areas moreso than others. The mind map primarily demonstrates different ways to relieve stress. Each category in the map outlines methods to cope with stress and is ranked by levels from most to least significance. The first section of the map is classified as knowledge because in order to manage stress, the individual requires a positive mindset. Positive thinking is associated with the category of knowledge and is proved throughout the journal article, A Resilience Program for Clinical Placement Learning. The authors analyse a study that is conducted by Martin and Marsh using positive psychology. The researchers ask the...show more content... The reason for this is because being organized provides people with a sense of security as well aids people to organize how they structure their everyday life. Time management is a central factor that can relieve stress. An organized schedule allows preparation time for the individual to plan and have enough time to achieve what they need to accomplish. For instance, in football there is a total of four quarters and during this period the players have time to complete the game as well incorporate additional advertisements and commercials. The concept of the four quarters demonstrates time management as it provides a structure of what needs to be done within that given time. Furthermore, structure and time management are extremely important when it comes to trying to relieve stress. This can be displayed through the article, Decreasing Students' Stress through Time Management Training: An Intervention Study as the study involved undergraduate students that are analysed before and after a training class that they are told to attend. It is measured through various studies, one being a scale that see the sights of time management behaviours and how it corresponds to the perceived stress scale. The test also focuses on procrastination and how it is detrimental to one ability to learn effectively. It revealed that time management reduces stress as it allows the individual to Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Background Branding; is defined by Charles W. Lamb, co–author of Marketing: sixth edition; as a name, term, symbol, design, or combination thereof that identifies a seller's product or service and differentiates them from competitors' products. Moreover, the through factor analysis would provide a rotated component matrix (VARIMAX) for each of the attributes assigning coordinates, allowing the individual to plot each of them into the perceptual map. Additionally, a component score matrix would be posted as two additional columns to the original data, providing coordinates for each of the brands. By plotting the coordinates for both brands and attributes in their respective quadrants, the perceptual map is, simultaneously, being drawn. Hence, other brands could be group by competitive clusters and positioning to which the brand at study could be compared in relation to other base on preference. Moreover, the map would provide good and bad gaps, and recommendations could be made as how to occupy good gaps and avoid to fall into bad gaps base on which attributes or perceptions to improve and/or communicate. Additionally, recommendations can also be made according to which positioning is desire, according to which exact quadrant to move into and exact location on the map. However, the recommendations and positioning strategy are based on a set of three assumptions. Since it is based on a snapshot of costumers' current perceptions. A mind map is mostly made around a single theory, drawn as a picture in the focal point of a clear scene page, to which related representations of plans. Mind maps might be drawn by hand, either as "harsh notes" throughout an address, gathering or arranging session, for instance, or as higher quality pictures when more of a chance is accessible. Mind mapping is a straightforward strategy for attracting data charts, as opposed to keeping in touch with it in sentences. The charts dependably take the same essential organization of a tree, with a single beginning stage in the center that splits out, and divide over and over to get the complicated data. Numerous duplicates of the same documents consume up space yet you require certain records in various catalogs. Therefore we have typical connections. Mind maps need such limit. I would not have any desire to be without labels and so forth however on their own they are inquisitively inadequate for separating information in a guide. –Not able to make weighted associations. The capability to allocate quality or imperativeness to things in courses other than their progressive position is not a typical characteristic of brain maps. Clearly you can style your ways and hubs to speak to the quality or significance of an association however this has no backend esteem so to talk. • 5. It’s All in the Mind Essay It's All in the Mind What is a mind? How is it related to a body? Descartes answer was substance dualism. A person consists of an immaterial substance (mind/soul) attached to a material substance (a body). But this thesis fails a crucial test. An immaterial substance cannot move a body; therefore a mind cannot move a body. I shall assume that to have a mind one must first have a brain. This is a materialist perspective. Some weaknesses in this perspective will be described. I shall argue that minds do not necessarily exist as entities, that we nevertheless are aware of our own mental events and that we are aware that other people have similar events. The mind cannot exist like a body or a collection of cells in a body. If it did...show more content... Secondly, if someone else were plugged in to my brain so that they registered all I saw and thought, then they would register all the mental acts as theirs. They would say, 'That sky was blue.' If pressed about the feeling of blueness as compared to their own feelings they would be forced to admit that this was their own feeling of blue. Suppose two people were connected by an apparatus which allowed one person (A) to monitor the other's (B's) mental events – thoughts, feelings, sensory experiences and so on. Further suppose that the apparatus is graduated so that A can gradually increase the input of B's thinking and experience into her own brain. Assuming that A was in a resting quietly in a cocoon, at what point does A become fully aware of the distinctive feel of B's mental events? The question misses the point because A's experiences can only ever be her own and no one else's. Let us imagine that by some advances in miniaturisation and virtual reality techniques we take a tour of someone's brain. The guide points out a series of neurone firings, which we see as a pattern of lights in a network: he tells us that the subject is seeing some blue sky. "Fine," we say, " but where's the blue?" We might also have asked, "Where is the person? The individual?" Our poor guide would be just as baffled. "Blue is that set of flashing lights," he says. Of course, we are inside the individual but Get more content on HelpWriting.net

The video explained several types of psychology such as: psychodynamic, humanistic, behaviorist, sociocultural, cognitive or biological. The most interesting school of psychology to me is the humanism. Humanism according to the book called Psychology says, "Humanism is a perspective within psychology that emphasizes the potential for good that is innate to all humans" (page 19). This shows that no matter how bad we are there is still good in us. For example, I encountered a costumer at my work that was not in a good mood. The foundations for national boundaries, the existence and confirmation of faraway continents, the establishment of colonies all took place in this period, and it was a time when globalization in the modern sense came to appear. This period was the harbinger for the interconnected society which we live in today, and it was made possible by enterprising nations and adventurous individuals who chose to navigate the known world and aggregate the knowledge of the cultures therein. Maps have defined boundaries and helped keep peace for centuries, but as the world grew smaller due to the advent of inter–continental trade, they came to embody the globalized culture existent today. A vivid example of amap which depicted this interrelation is Father Matteo Ricci's world map form 1602, which depicted the world in a very truthful manner. This map is important for many reasons in itself, but it was the first map of the world in Chinese, meant entirely for China's consumption and as such held China as the center of the map. To the Chinese, Ricci's map had once a geographical value beyond computation , for it was the first time they had the opportunity to envision what the world was like beyond their borders. In contemporary maps, China always appears to the right, always to the east, but in this map of the world, it is depicted in the center, with the Americas in the east. Father Ricci noted the Sino–centric vision of the Chinese and accordingly positioned Asia in the middle of his map so that it would not be rejected by Chinese scholars. As this map was produced for the express purpose of being a western tool molded to eastern fundamentals, in essence to provide the Chinese with the capability to understand where it is that they stand in the world, as they converse with s foreigner from thousands of miles away. • 13. Philosophy of the Mind ThePhilosophyofMind Introduction The philosophy of body and mind has been a highly debated topic since its launch in the 17th centaury by Rene Descartes. Since then, many philosophers have written on the subject matter and many theories have emerged as a product of this lively debate. In this essay, I will analyze and critique a selection of philosophers who ponder on the body–mind topic since the 17th century, and ultimately evaluate Paul M. Chruchland's claim that folk psychology should be eliminated and replaced by completed neuroscience. For the purpose of this essay it is important to set the defying parameters of folk psychology, as there are 3 working definitions of folk psychology...show more content... (Cottingham, 223). Here Descartes' view of the mind over the body is evident but a connection could also be made to an interesting scientific discovery, Dimethyltryptamine (DMT). DMT is a hormone in the brain, only secreted during birth, dreams, and death. Besides its presence in the brain, DMT is also found in plants. Doctor Rick Strassman researched DMT extensively throughout the late 1900's and even applied it to test subjects to observe results. He found that the secretion of DMT causes a state where one's connection to reality as we know it, the physical laws of nature, are abandoned completely, a state of being where one is confronted by the unconscious mind. "DMT allows contact with dark matter or parallel universes, Strassman argues that DMT must have provided an adaptive advantage to our ancestors in allowing access to alternate states of consciousness and thus perhaps greater problem–solving abilities and greater creativity."(Flores 2002). As time passes, be days, moths, years or only simply one experience can change our whole vision of the world, about life, about what really matters and consequently about our goals. Throughout my whole life I have questioned so many aspects of my life, of existence, and consequently about my future. I never stopped wanting to achieve something big, that could change the whole world, some amazing adventure that would be the one thing that would give birth to all the amazing things that could happen next. As time passed I realized that life itself is one big adventure, and that what I will do every day will matter for me and for the people around me. I realized that life is not some perfect movie where there are good guys, bad guys and that in the end of one amazing journey everything would be solved. It may be a childish vision of the world, but it had motivated me for years to do the thing I believed would help me achieve this, and to believe in myself. I would not do it for my parents, or for anyone, I will be doing it for me, because even if it seems fun to play sports or create music, it is necessary to have a professional goal in life and incoming money to sustain a Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 15. Organizational Behavior Mind Map Essay Organizational Behavior Mind Map In our Organization Behavior class we were asked to create a mind map incorporating all the important and relevant topics we have covered during the course, and how they relate with the other topics and fit in the bigger picture of organizational behavior as a subject. Whilst drawing my mind map, I realized that most of the relevant topics of OB really fall under 4 main branches – Organizational psychology, development, theory and human resources. I believe that these are the 4 most important aspects of OB simply because business is about people. All organizations comprise people; and the organization's success (or lack of it) really depends on the interactions of the people within the organization, and...show more content... The social, political, technological, and economic environment around it and the community to which it belongs and affects also impact the organizational culture. These frames set the foundation for which the organization develops its own culture on. For a harmonious and smooth functioning organization, there needs to be congruence within this culture that is created. Hence, the values and beliefs, formal and informal systems, strategies, outcomes and thinking and characteristics of the organization need to be aligned, and to fit with each other to create any form of congruence. What I have come to realize during this OB course is that congruence is an absolute necessity in any type of team or organization. Congruence enables consistency in what the beliefs of the organization are and the resulting actions taken by the organization, enabling the members to understand what to expect from the organization and the people working in it and also what is expected of them. The second main branch in my mind map is of organizational development. This branch has been included as every organization in today's age looks to be what is known as a "learning organization". A learning organization constantly looks for ways and means to improve itself. For improvement, very often change is necessary. A requirement for change can stem from fear, miscommunication, a lack of creativity or out–of–the–box thinking and a non–conducive work culture. However, a need for change can Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 17. Reflection Paper : Mapping My Life I have not realized how much I and the environment are connected. When mapping my life, I find it refreshing and could pinpoint why I was stress. On the map, I choose six systems that were meaningful to me. They are school, transportation, hobbies, friends, club, health. This year, I am trying to manage how to juggle these things I list. When the day is ending, I am a zombie by the time I come home. However, I am having fun because I am more active I ever been during school years. School is the number one priority for me. There is one goal I want to achieve, and that is to get my Ph.D. Now, on the map, I consider school to be stressful and flow of energy. One of the reasons to be stressful is I am trying to manage all my class homework...show more content... I have no idea how I am going about and adding volunteer at the nursing home is going to be stressful. I still planning when to eat right before dinner hits. My main thing is to exercise, and I need to get on that. Also, I need to get on about my hobbies. The activities I enjoy to de–stress. However, I have trouble relaxing since most of my days are working or school. The only free time I get is at night. I only get an hour to de–stress then I go to bed and wake up early. I know having free time can be hard, but I get energy from my hobbies. That is the reason I put on my ecomap. It is the way I recharge myself. Now, the most stressful I will get is transportation. I have a unique black car just for my wheelchair. There are times the car wants to be stubborn leaving me to use my manual chair. Whenever I have to do that, I would get frustrated because the powerchair is a source of independence. Plus, the using the trolley can be a pain at times. I calculate carefully when to get on the bus and how long I can hang out before getting back on the trolley. It is worse especially when I sit on a hot day. Anyways, the last thing on my ecomap is my family diagram. My family background is unique. All of us are adopted except one of my sister, Morgan; even my cat is adopted. When I was looking at the map, I chuckled because I forget we adopted her. The cat's name is Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Rose Park is located in the Northwest area of Salt Lake City and is one of the most diverse areas in Utah. According to a staff at the local elementary in Rose Park, there are more than 100 languages spoken by the members of this community, which exemplifies the level of diversity which this area is comprised of. While the boundaries of Rose Park are often misunderstood and thought to be anything west of the 215 freeway and North of 600 North sharing boundaries with bountiful, they are much smaller. In considering what I thought to be needed, I considered what would change within and among the members of the community if such needs were addressed and what that would look like. As I continued my exploration of the community, I began talking with individuals at the local library, rec center, and school to see what other members of this community considered strengths and areas of need, in addition to reviewing community boards and positing's. As I continued my conversations with the members of this community, I not only gained a deeper understanding of what others considered strengths but found that the members of this community truly are the stakeholders. While I began this assignment with this bias in mind, I was truly unaware of how much the members of the Rose Park community contribute to making their area of Salt Lake City what it is. I found that many of the individual who reside in Rose Park work for the city of Salt Lake or other areas of government and serve vital roles in local school, comities, boards and various other community action groups. In addition to discovering the vast contributions the members / stakeholders of this community provide for its members, I also discovered talents and strengths that I would not have otherwise discovered if I had not been assigned this assignment. One of such talents that baffled me was a neighbor a few streets from mine who participated in a talent show of sorts and competed against another Utah Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 19. Nazi Ideology And The Nazi Party Essay The leaders of the Nazi party made it one of the most infamous groups to lead a nation in history. The horrible things done under their rule and with their stamp of approval has made the term Nazi one of the worst possible. The amazing thing about the Nazi party is that many of the main aspects of their ideology existed in Germany even before they formed or came to power. Some of the major aspects of Nazi ideology such as antisemitism, the desire to expand the German empire, and the belief in the strength of the Aryan race existed in Germany years before Adolf Hitler was a name anyone in Germany would recognize. The most widely known aspects of Nazi ideology are their hatred of Jewish people and their tireless efforts to exterminate the entire race during their rule. This distinctly Nazi belief of antisemitism is not one that the Nazis created. It instead had existed for several thousand years throughout Germany and all of Europe. As Stackelberg and Winkle explain, "The origins of the stereotype of Jews as immoral materialists can be traced to the unwillingness of Jews to give up their religion in favor of world–renouncing Christianity" (Stackelberg and Winkle, Anti–Semitism, p. 2). This feeling of hatred towards Jews persisted for centuries, especially in countries that had a majority of Christian citizens. There were a number of people that continually perpetuated these anti–Semitic views with the works that they published and their actions towards Jews. A great Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 20. Early Church Mind Map There are four parts in my mind map and every part represents different mark of the early Church which I want the reader comes away with. In other words, my mind map focus on the illustrations of early Church's four marks. Early Church has four marks: One, Holy, Catholic and apostolic. Those marks indicated four major distinctive marks or distinguishing characteristics of the Christian Church. For example, although people built thousands of churches around the world, there is still only "one" Church for the Christian religion. As the description of "Body of Christ" in the model of Church, Church is basically the union of Jesus' followers and believers, though many, still one organism with Jesus Christ. And the mark "One" leads to the essential...show more content... For the contagion of this superstition has spread not only to the cities but also to the villages and farms"(Letters between Trajan and Pliny the Younger). Jesus told His apostles to go throughout the world and make disciples of "all nations" (Matthew 28:19~20) as the gift from Jesus which could provide people a way to purify their soul and save them from the sins. As a result, various people are making the connection with the Church for their religion beliefs and appreciation to Jesus. And the Church is still processing missionaries to "make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19). In addition, it would be very hard for the Church to accomplish the universal without the essential mark "Apostolic". After Jesus established the Church, He appointed His Apostles who succeed Jesus' thought as the leader of the Church. They communicated with disciples around the world for Jesus, and help them to connect the Holy Church. The Didache is a perfect fact to express that idea. • 22. Medieval Europe And The Renaissance Essay 1.Renaissance – The Renaissance was a time in which Medieval Europe transformed into more modern times. Renaissance means rebirth in French. Medieval Europe had been fragmented and feudal with an agricultural economy, and the church controlled its thought and culture. During the Renaissance, Europe grew national consciousness and political centralization. An urban economy based on organized commerce and capitalism and a secular view on life emerged. The Renaissance showed the birth of humanism, which revives the use of classical writings for learning. Materialism also emerged during this time, people started to focus more on themselves. And individualism and skepticism also came about. Banking was a great supporter of the Renaissance, Italian bankers were bankers of the pope and all trade was going through them. Cities rise in importance and farms get closed off and are owned privately which moves toward a market economy. The Renaissance was not an economic boom because the advancements were happening in different places, at different times and at different rates. Literature was very important during this time. Literature was starting to be written in the vernacular and the German printing press was developed. More and more people became patrons of the arts and art became more for the people than for religion. Science was slowly changing and being slightly more accepted even though it was still morally wrong to most to believe that earth was not at the center of the world Get more content on HelpWriting.net
