3. UNITED STATES NAVAL ACADEMY:
The Academy is offering a fast-paced, six-day
experience called Summer Seminar for high achievers
who have completed their junior year in high school.
Summer Seminar teaches you about life at the Naval
Academy.
Applications are now open and will close on March 31
st . See Ms. Dolan or Mr. Fong for details.
4. SENIORS:
University of Hawaii Manoa is still accepting admission
applications until April 1st . If you are thinking about
the Manoa campus, make sure you apply ASAP.
Also seniors, just a reminder that you need to update
your Naviance page with your admissions results. Be
sure to let Mr. Fong know about any scholarship
awards.
5. JUNIORS:
Interested in Engineering? The University of Hawaii’s
College of Engineering is offering a 6 week program to
high school juniors to work hands-on in their research
laboratories.
Interns will also participate in development workshops
and group activities.
See Mr. Fong for details.
6. NATIONAL COLLEGE FAIR:
The Annual National College Fair will be held on
Tuesday, April 11 th , from 5:00-8:00pm at the Hawaii
Convention Center.
Over 200 colleges will be in attendance. You can
register ahead of time and receive fair details and
print a barcode form to show the college admission
officers. See your grad counselor for flyers.”
7. CLOTHES CLOSET CARING SCHOLARSHIP:
Sponsored by the Parent Board through donations to
the uniforms closet, receive $250 in support of the
necessities for school such as uniforms, books and
school supplies.
There are six of these scholarships available: 2 lower
school, 2 junior high, and 2 upper school for next
school year 2017-2018.
8. DRIVERS ED SCHOLARSHIP:
Sponsored by A+ Clark’s Driving School, this scholarship
covers a six-week driving program. There are two of
these scholarships available for next school year 2017-
2018.
The deadlines for both scholarships are April 21, 2016.
Applications for both scholarships are available through
Edline or in the Development Office A-213. For more

9. CHEERLEADING:
Tryouts for grades 7-12 will be held during the first
two weeks of April. No experience necessary.

10. ANNUAL BLOOD DRIVE:
Our annual blood drive will be held today. This is open
to 16 & 17 year olds, staff and parents.
Please email Mrs. Sutter (esutter@gmail.com), or stop
by her room (A320) to sign-up.
Please support this very important cause.
11. SHOP FOR HIGHER EDUCATION:
Sacred Hearts is once again participating in this
annual statewide 6-week program, which ends today,
at all Foodland and Sack-n- Save stores.
