HOW DO YOU POWER YOUR CORE? This question will be encouraged of all people to answer. The twitter and facebook accounts would be very active using the hashtag #HOWIPOWER, giving examples and encouraging tweeting and interaction from others. This will be found at https://twitter.com/corepower. Having a big idea and a slogan like this, it makes it very easy for people to join in on the conversation. Usually, people will even jokingly use the hashtag when it becomes a bigger thing, then people will more openly use it and know that it’s a cool conversation to be involved with.
Target audience would be people who are generally interested in health and fitness. They would be the type of people to buy into the idea of answering the tagline question on social media and get the campaign started. That way, they will try the product and hopefully enjoy it, then become a loyal customer. The cycle would repeat itself and become a large social media campaign. By targeting this type of person, the campaign will launch more effectively, because these are the types of people who wouldn’t have to leave their personal comfort zone to be involved and active in the conversation.
This campaign should be up and running within a week, but the success of the campaign shouldn’t be measured in the first few weeks following the beginning. Success should be measured in the amount of activity on social media, and sales. At the end of the day, an increase in sales is always the ultimate goal. We will know the campaign is a success by the way the raise in sales, website and blog hits, and the amount of activity on a daily basis easily logged by things like “likes”, “favorites”, and “retweets”.
Budget should be $1000. With the size of company Core Power is, $1000 should be sufficient. This budget would cover extra advertising, any graphics that can’t be made within Core Power, and any extra costs that may come up in the planning and execution of the plan. The employee’s wage shouldn’t be included in this budget, and neither should the cost of general tools, like computers and cable Internet. These are assumed to be not a part of the budget of this campaign.
The main thing that we will start is a blog campaign for Core Power and our big idea. This can be found at http://www.corepower.com/blog/. On top of that there will be a huge social media campaign consisting of tweeting and facebook posting that is very interactive and encourages interactions. Lastly, starting a Google Adwords pay-per-click advertising program would be very smart. This can cost as low as $10, but I would suggest we start around $100.
This strategy, with all parts working together and simultaneously, will allow for the Internet to know more and be more interactive with Core Power. In turn, people will go out and try the product, increasing sales.
