  1. 1. * Dream Trip Project By: Natalie Daniels
  2. 2. Location : LondonThese two pictures are the Map Room and theCabinet War room from the Underground War Roomsin WW ll. The historical significance of these roomsis that they protected Churchill and his top advisorsduring the time period of the Blitz. These roomsconnected to the topic of Winston Churchill whichwe have covered this year. Churchill decided to stayin London instead of going off somewhere else.
  3. 3. Location :London The two pictures are showing the London Eye. The London Eyecan carry up to 800 passengers per rotation. Also, it takes about 30 minutes for one capsule to do a rotation. I want to see theLondon Eye because I think that would be cool to see the city ofLondon from different heights. Also, I would love to experience the once in a lifetime ride on a huge Ferris Wheel overlooking London. Last but not least, I think it would be cool to see theLondon Eye lit up beautifully in the night as seen in the picture.
  4. 4. Location: ChinaThe pictures are showing the Shijingshan Amusement Park inChina. Instead of this Park duplicating Disney’s ideas andcharacters they mainly stated that their park was based offof Grimm’s Fairy Tales. I would like to go to this placebecause I would like to compare this Disneyworld to theactual one located in Orlando, Florida. I also love to go toDisneyworld and it would be great to experience aDisneyworld in another country. Also, this Disneyworld issure to provide different rides and attractions so that wouldbe cool to experience something different after going to theone in Orlando, Florida so many times.
  5. 5. Location: ChinaThe pictures are showing the Great Wall of China. This wall has anickname of the 10,000 Li- Long Wall which means the 5,000-kilometer-Long Wall. The historical significance of the Great Wallis that China built this wall to protect themselves from invaders. This great wall connected to the topic of the Great Wall that wehave learned about this year. This Great Wall is historical becauseit helped protect and defend the Chinese as well as allow them tocontrol trade with other countries.
  6. 6. Location: France The pictures are showing the Palace of Versailles. Aninteresting fact about the Palace of Versailles is that in currentday it costs 2 billion dollars. This palace’s historicalsignificance is that Louis XIV chose this palace to stay at whileruling France. The Palace of Versailles is related to Louis XIVwho we have studied this year. This Palace is historical becauseout of all the palaces in the world Louis XIV chose to ruleFrance and stay at the Palace of Versailles and it is a symbol ofthe monarchy.
  7. 7. Location: FranceThese two pictures are showing the Eiffel Tower. At thetop of this monumental building you can see around 59kilometers or around 37 miles. I would like to visit theEiffel Tower because it is one of the most popular sitesin France and I take French as my language so thatwould be cool to experience the attractions of theFrench culture. Last but not least, I would like to learnabout the history of the Eiffel Tower.
  8. 8. Location: Orlando, FloridaThe pictures are showing the original Disneyworld. It takes 62,000characters to create this magical world’s experience. I would like to goto Disneyworld because I love to ride rollercoasters and that would beso cool to meet all my favorite characters that I have grown up loving. Also, my cousins live In Orlando, Florida so that would be really cool togo to Disneyworld and visit with them. Last but not least, I think itwould be very cute to see all the little kids faces light up as soon asthey take their first step into the magical world of Disneyworld.
  9. 9. Location: Orlando, Florida The pictures are showing rooms or places you can go in the Titanic museum. The museum’s tour guide is in character thewhole tour making it memory filling. This museum has historical importance because it remembers and reminisces on the tragedy of when the Titanic crashed into the iceberg. The museum ties back to the historical comparisons of the ships to Christopher Columbus’ ship. This museum is also historical because this ship was chosen as the first ship to carry people.
  10. 10. Location: New YorkThe pictures above are showing the Empire State Building. The 1,454 building equipped with 102 floors cost$40,948,900. I would like to go to the Empire StateBuilding because it is at the heart of New York and is one ofNew York’s main attractions. Also, that would be so cool to see the architecture of this building in New York. I alsoremember seeing this landmark in a movie called Elf and it looked like an interesting and a one of a kind site.
  11. 11. Location: New York The pictures above represent the Women’s Rights National Historical Park. This park is very interesting because in the park the buildings are made to resemble the actual buildings that occurred during the Women’s rights movement. The sites historical significance is that it revisits the great movement that earned women all their rights. The Park actually ties intowhat I was reading which is The Diary of a Young Girl and it tiesin because during that period women did not have rights during this time period. This park is historical because it could have been used as a playground or one with a pond but instead was used to relive the Women’s rights movement by creating the Women’s Rights National Historical Park.
