2. CloseUp
CameraShot
I have taken a close up shot
of Macy’s face to show the
emotion of the character
that she is portraying. In this
shot Macy is also reacting t0
her surroundings, the close
up photograph
demonstrates all of Macy’s
facial expressions such as the
distressed and frightened
look. In a close up
photograph we are also
focused on the main focal
point which here is Macy’s
face.
3. LowAngle
Photograph
I have chosen to use a low
angle photograph in this
photo since low angles
demonstrate that the
character in question is
powerful as the audience is
‘below’ them.This uses
height to demonstrate the
power of the character.
4. MidShot
Photograph
Here I have chosen to use a
mid shot this is because we
want to include the setting
but also to focus on both
characters. In this specific
shot, Macy is being pulled off
of her chair at lunch time and
the bully is standing behind
her holding the chair.
Therefore we wanted to
include Macy’s reaction and
the setting in which the
scenario is occurring to
highlight the embarrassment
that Macy is feeling.
5. LongShot
photograph
In this shot, I have chosen to
use a long shot photograph
which includes the character
and the setting. I wanted to
include the setting so that the
audience can understand that
Macy is in a daunting
environment around a lot of
people at lunch time. Also we
wanted to have Macy roughly
near the ‘grid lines ‘ to
incorporate the rule of three
technique so that the audience
naturally focuses on Macy.
