3. Description of Sites Both the TrackClass and Schoolbinder sites allow students and teachers to organize their classes. This includes assignments, tests, notes, and class files.
4. Type of License TrackClass – Each student must have their own account. Accounts are free, but require an email address. Schoolbinder – Each student or teacher must have their own account. Account sign ups require an email address, but can use “fake” email. Free accounts for both teachers and students – limited features Pro accounts – more features, but cost Teachers - $50/year Students - $20/year
5. Technical Requirements Since both organizers are web based, there aren’t any special technical requirements except an internet connection.
6. Instructional Goals Teach students organizational skills. Teach students the power of “cloud computing.” Allow students to communicate on class topics. Teach students how to enter data online.

15. Recommendation Schoolbinder is fully functional with a wide variety of features. Even without a mobile app, you can still receive reminders on your mobile device via text message, email, or an RSS feed. The discussion board allows for class communication. Color coding on the calendar allows students to easily identify tasks according to class. Synchronization with Dropbox allows files to be available anywhere, anytime. Students can set goals. Students can upload a picture of themselves for further personalization.
