3. Cash Sales - Auto Receipt
Party-wise tracking for all cash sales is vital. In such a scenario users need to record two transactions
 Sales Entry with Party details
 Cash Receipt against the Party
The „Auto Receipt for Cash Sales‟ add-on will auto generate a receipt for cash sales i.e. when sales
Invoice is generated, Receipt is also automatically created.
Quick Set up Guide
1. Enable “Auto Receipt for Cash Sales” in F6 : Add-on Features
2. Create “Cash Receipt” Voucher type
3. Create “Bank Receipt” Voucher type
4. Set Cash or Bank Receipt to “Yes”
Detailed Setup Guide
1. From Gateway of Tally -> Company Features (F11 Features) -> Add-on Features (F6)
2. Enable “Auto Receipt for Cash Sales”

4. 3. Create a new voucher type called “CASH RECEIPT”, “BANK RECEIPT” like below.
4. Now, record and save a sales transaction
NOTE: If sales type is „Credit‟ receipt entry will not be created.

5. 5. Select „Yes‟ when the „Create Cash Receipt‟ pop-up appears on saving of the transaction
6. A cash receipt is auto generated. A Status Message is displayed as shown below
7. You now notice that a new Cash Receipt transactions is recorded (automatically)

Which versions of Tally does the module support?
This module will work with Tally.ERP 9 Series A, release 3.0 Onwards.
How will I get support for this module?

Will any NEW features added be available to us?
Yes, all new features added up to one year is available free of cost, with the required support. After one
year, a nominal subscription cost will be applicable, to continue to get support and updates.
What will happen if a new version of Tally.ERP 9 is made available?
Normally, it will work without any errors, as the add-on gets updated automatically. In case of any issues,
contact support.
What is the cost of subscription after the free service period?
20% of the then MRP will be charged for support and updates.
