•He was western Philosopher of 20th Century.
• Edward said was a Professor of literature at
Columbia University.
•He was famous for his book “Orientalism”.
•He Generally deals with post- colonialism,

western people became interested in the
natives and the cultures of western
colonies.

word “Oriens’ meaning “East”.

Asia.

romance, exotic beings, hunting memories

and Uncivilized. They are prove that their culture is a more
civilized.
