I am a graduate from the Early Childhood Education Diploma program of Centennial College; which
gave me the opportunity to learn children's developmental theories and curriculum planning, and
the opportunity to gain hands on experience in the field of early childhood. For my field placements
in this program, I was able to handle infants, preschoolers and kindergarten. In these placements, I
was able to share developmentally appropriate activities, apply positive guidance strategies and
health & safety principles, and implement class projects which were based in the emergent
curriculum.
