I am a graduate from the Early Childhood Education Diploma program at Centennial College and
I have a Bachelor of Art Degree from Sri Lanka. As a part of my education I completed three field
placements where I improved my knowledge and skills. This hands on experience provided me with a
great opportunity to gain tremendous skills in working with toddlers, preschoolers and kindergarten
children. In addition prior to coming to Canada I have over 7 years experience in matters of mental health,
child development, child abuse and early child development in Sri Lanka. I was able to built trusting and
supportive relationship with the children and my co-workers. My lifelong passion has always been
focused on developing healthy stimulated and happy children and creating safe environments in which
they can thrive.
It is definitely going to be an exciting experience to join Kidz Zone day care team. I believe your
mandate is closely aligned to my personal philosophy of child development. It would be a great
opportunity to join your team to dedicate my skills and energy while gaining new experience in a safe and
