I am a graduate from the Early Childhood Education Diploma program at Centennial
College. In this program, I learned how to assess and consider the developmental
needs of children through field placements and class lectures. With regards to field
placements, I have gained excellent skills in dealing with different age levels - from
infants to school-age; I have practiced positive guidance strategies; and I have
applied my knowledge in program planning, based on children's cues and interests.
Also, I have successfully handled different working environments - from a privately
owned centre, a city run centre, and to a Toronto District School Board classroom. On
the other hand, my in-class performances were also highly regarded by my professors
based on their assessments and reviews.
It would be an honour to be part of Sunnyside Day Care. The chance to work with a
