Key Responsibilities Handled As HSE Officer:
 To follow material safety data sheet.
 Inspection of plant and material.
 Conduct daily safety inspection of job sites to ensure strict compliance all
company and Client HSE procedures, regulations and requirements.
 To ensure that scaffold platform is properly supported and fully boarded and toe.
 Board and guardrail has provided to prevent fall of workers /materials.
 Good housekeeping of materials on platform has ensured.
 Check the electrical cables and connections.
 Submit safety inspection reports as directed.
 Periodically inspect PPE, fire extinguishers, first aid boxes, and other HSE
equipment and facilities to ensure their adequacy and functionality and track their

 Implementation of risk assessment/job hazard analysis.
 Co-ordinate with different departments QC / Construction / Project Management and Client on H&S issues.
Attending Kick-Off, Weekly Progress and Safety Meetings.
 Ensure Contractor’s Safety Training for Site Laborers is regularly maintained.
 Closely monitor site activities on a daily basis issuing non-compliance reports where necessary and
suggesting remedial measures.
 Determining causes of unsafe conditions through procedure review, equipment and facilities inspection
and worker observation with corrective action recommendations provided via verbal instruction and
formal reporting.
 Conduct periodic inspections of job sites to assist managers and supervisors in HSE compliance.
 Conduct weekly safety patrol with the Contractor and recommend corrective action for unsafe acts and
unsafe conditions observed during inspection.
 Ensure that the Contractor has providing orientation of new employees / workers and supervisors in
regarding company safety and health procedures, location of first aid facilities, and other job safety
related matters.
 Ensure that Permit to Work System for hot work, excavation, confined space, scaffolding, etc. is properly
implemented.
 Ensure that all drivers and operators were holding KSA driving license and certified by third party approved
by the Municipality.
 Review inspection checklist for fire extinguisher, power tools, scaffolding and lifting equipment.

 Inspection of portable tools such as drilling machine, Grinding machine etc.
 Ensuring the safe procedure of hot work activities.
 Ensure good housekeeping in ground levels and elevated areas.
 Ensure the availability of work permits, JSA's, MSDS', scaffoldings tags, 3rd
party inspection certificates, and other necessary documents before work is
commenced.
 Any waste materials such as piping waste, cleaning rags and the waste generated
by different activities should be kept in metal bins and removed from the work
place at the end of each working day.
 Suitable signs should be displayed such as mandatory sign, warnings signs,
prohibitory sign etc.
