The University of Georgia Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication has
administered the Peabody Awards for nearly 80 years. To evaluate and uplift the most interesting
and well-done stories continually, the Peabody Awards depend on private funding since it does not
receive funding from an endowment.

Peabody giving levels include the Director’s Circle, which encompasses transformational donors
who give $10,000 or more to facilitate the continuation of broadcast media’s most distinguished
award. Donors in the Director’s Circle receive two tickets to the awards ceremony. There also is a
Friends of Peabody group that allows University of Georgia alumni and other supporters to give to
the Peabody Awards at the $100, $250, and $500 levels.
