Jaromir Jagr Research Paper
If any of these players retired tomorrow, there is little to no doubt they'll be inducted into the
Hockey Hall of fame.
1. Jaromir Jagr
Here's a no brainer of course, as Jaromir Jagr will likely even have his three–year eligibility wait
waived. He moved into second place for all–time points last year (1,914), third in goals, and fifth in
playoff scoring. Add an Olympic gold medal and two Stanley Cup rings, and you've got a future hall
of famer.
2. Sidney Crosby
"Sid the Kid" will have a similar legacy as Mario Lemieux, as he will absolutely dominate on the ice
if he can stay off the injured reserve. Three Stanley cups, a pair of Art Ross and Rocket Richard
trophies, along with two Olympic gold medals will certainly put Crosby's name in the ... Show more

Their cup window may be coming to a close now, but Toews has no doubt proven his worth to the
game.
4. Alexander Ovechkin
The biggest smudge on his career will always be the lack of Cups, but Alexander Ovechkin's talent
is just too proven to be overlooked. His seven 50 goal campaigns in the last decade might

make you believe you're watching the high scoring hockey of the eighties, but don't be mistaken;
scoring has gone down considerably in the NHL and the Great Eight just manages to defy the odds.
5. Evgeni Malkin
Somehow, Evgeni Malkin manages to fly under the radar year in and year out. His health concerns
are the biggest issue, but rest assured he is still one of the top players in the league. Like Crosby, his
three Stanley Cups, two Art Ross trophies and Conn Smythe award should put him safely in the hall
of fame (and on the NHL's Top 100 players list, from which he was snubbed last year).
Honorable mentions
Pavel Datsyuk doesn't have the individual awards, but should be a lock once he retires from the
KHL. Plenty of Cup–less veterans deserve a spot, including Jarome Iginla, Henrik Lundqvist and

The National Hockey League Of Sun Belt Cities
Introduction
On August 8th, 1988 Wayne Gretzky gave a tearful farewell to Edmonton after being traded to the
Los Angeles Kings. The Gretzky trade had effects beyond the two teams. The landscape of the
National Hockey League changed in the years following the Gretzky trade. Ten years after the trade
Anaheim, Dallas, Phoenix, Miami, San Jose, and Tampa were awarded NHL franchises. The
National Hockey League's southern expansion was partially driven by the attendance increase the
Los Angeles Kings experienced after the Gretzky trade. The goal of this essay is to determine what
drives attendance in Sun Belt cities. Our study should interest sports economists in academia and
National Hockey league executives who make decisions on the league's product placement. Team
attendance is the dependent variable in the model and eleven independent variables were run in two
different regressions. The first regression run was a Least Squares regression and the second was a
time series regression. The time series regression was necessary to run since the results of the Least
Squares regression may have been biased. The time series regression reveled two important
conclusions. First, winning a championship had a positive and statistically significant impact on
attendance in southern cities. Second, the time series regression illustrated that each city has special
characteristics driving attendance that we cannot measure. This essay I will review other research
papers on attendance at sporting

The Spring Of 2017, By Jon Ledecky / Scott Malkin Era Of...
This spring will be the latest in a series that has tested the mettle of the Islanders from top down –
ownership, general manager, head coach and even players not excluded from the exercise. The
spring of 2017 could, however, prove to be the most challenging and defining of all. We are
officially at the end of year one in the Jon Ledecky/Scott Malkin era of ownership, Garth Snow
remains at the helm of hockey operations and Doug Weight, he of 40 games of NHL head coaching
experience, was seemingly the only option in a summer that saw at least four others looking for
work with pedigree, and some even Stanley Cups, on their resume. We covered where the Islanders
were this year in our annual season retrospective posted on Tuesday. ... Show more content on

Not to mention structural issues with the building itself, wrapped in tinfoil or not. Who will be a part
of Weight's staff? Doug Weight did a fine job taking over for Jack Capuano, leading the Islanders to
the second best record in the entire league since he got the promotion at 24–12–4. He transformed
how head coaches deal with the media by showing candor, humility and taking responsibility, all
while holding players accountable. His press conferences were a can't miss. But, let's not forget, it
wasn't all roses and sunshine. The powerplay struggles continued and cost the Islanders valuable
points that could have gotten them into the postseason and they continued to be sloppy defensively,
allowing five goals or greater in five of their last 12 losses. There was an ugly performance at home
against Nashville and a horrendous first period in Philadelphia. Weight said via conference call

Stanley Cup Research Paper
The Stanley Cup
In every sport there is a dream; for hockey, that is winning the Stanley Cup. The Stanley Cup is the
Holy Grail of hockey. It consists of pure silver and nickel alloy ("Stanley Cup, Wikipedia".). It is a
towering 32.25 inches tall (Podnieks 15.). As one may say after winning the Stanley Cup, It weighs
about 35 pounds, but when held high and proudly above you, it is as light as a feather.
Over the years there have been multiple champions of the Cup that dates as far back as March of
1893 when the Montreal Hockey Club won in the Amateur Hockey Association of Canada
("Amateur Hockey Association of Canada."; "Montreal Hockey Club."). Although the current cup is
awarded to the winners of the National Hockey League, the cup was awarded to winners of multiple
leagues and has been given to the winners of two leagues in one year a couple of times.
The Stanley Cup is the greatest honour in hockey. It was brought over to Canada by Frederick
Arthur Stanley. Stanley was born in London, England on January 15th, 1841 ("Frederick Stanley,
16th Earl of Derby"). In 1888, Stanley was appointed the job of Governor General of Canada and ...

Stanley was also strictly involved in politics in England ("Frederick Stanley, 16th Earl of Derby").
When Stanley became the Governor General of Canada, he and his family moved across the Atlantic
Ocean to come start a life in Canada ("Frederick Stanley, 16th Earl of Derby"). While in Canada,
they quickly picked up the love for the game of hockey ("Stanley Cup, Wikipedia"). It was at the
1889 Montreal Winter Carnival where Lord Stanley first saw hockey played between the Montreal
Victoria's and the Montreal Hockey Club ("Stanley Cup, Wikipedia"). The Montreal Gazette
reported that he had "expressed his great delight with the game of hockey and the expertise of the

History Behind Lord Stanley Cup
History Behind Lord Stanley
The Lord Stanley Cup. The oldest trophy competed for by professional athletes in North America
and the greatest thing NHL hockey players dream of to hoist and kiss after a season. Training,
practicing, motivation and pushing themselves to get better is what all these players put the hours
into for that moment. After battling 82 games for a playoff spot, then continuing to win 4 playoff
rounds, of best of seven series, they finally get to have the moment they've all been working and
dreaming for as a kid. To raise the Cup, kiss it, scream, and then pass it to your fellow teammate.
But that's not why they do it. They do it because they had a dream as a kid and know the history
behind what the Cup represents to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In 1927–1928, a new structure was streamlined and a vertical shape of the Cup was used and by
1948, the Cup became to tall to hold as well as even stand up without tipping over. This Cup was
changed to what we see today with the wider rings at the bottom standing at 35 inches tall and 17
inches wide. Since 1958, 5 new rings were added around the base of the Cup for championship
teams, which means rings had to be removed to maintain the structure of the Cup. The rings that get
removed and preserved in Lord Stanley's Vault in the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. This ends the
evolution of what the Cup is today and we can now see all the alterations done over the years, plus
see how the NHL has kept all the history of the cup either on the cup or in Lord Stanley's Vault so
none of the history is forgotten or left behind.
Next, I will talk about the history behind how the Stanley Cup was nicknamed "Lord Stanley", how
the cup is engraved and what the Cup does to help others. The original cup was bought for roughly
$50 and donated from a man named Sir Frederick Arthur Stanley. Sir Frederick Arthur Stanley was a
Colonial Secretary from 1885–1886 and the Governor General of Canada from 1888–1893, plus an
avid sportsman. In 1892, he donated the cup and said, "I have for some time been thinking that it
would be a good thing if there were a challenge cup which should be held from year to year by the
champion hockey team in the Dominion of Canada. There does not

Miro Aaltonen : Fighting It Out For The Leafs Last Centre...
Dominic Moore, Ben Smith, Eric Fehr and surprise standout Miro Aaltonen are battling it out for the
Leafs final centre position.
You know what's really exciting?
For the first time in as long as I can remember, the Leafs are dealing with the problem that they have
too many talented, NHL calibre Centres in their system.
That right there is one of the only "problems" I would ever want the Leafs to have.
As of this moment, Babcock has just a single spot left on offence to fill, and an abundance of players
to fill it with. He has made it clear that the final 4c spot will go to the most standout player at
training camp. With the preseason slowly dying off, and the real action ready to begin, lets take a
look at who will be ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Eric Fehr
Whereas Smith has little to no chance of joining the Leafs on the 4th line, Eric Fehr ranks slightly
higher.
The 32 year old veteran was acquired in March of 2017 in a trade with the Pittsburg Penguins. The
same trade that saw Frankie Corrado finally freed.
Over the years, Fehr has proven himself to be a noticeable force in the back end of any lineup.
From 2012–2015, Fehr tallied 81 pts in 189 GP with the Washington Capitals. After his time with
the Capitals, Fehr took an odd jump to Pittsburg, where he hoisted the Stanley Cup in 2016.
Fehr actually had the opportunity to play a single game with the Leafs last year, but if you blinked,
you might have missed it. About halfway through the game, Fehr blocked a shot with his left hand,
breaking it.
Sadly, breaking his hand, might have broken his opportunity with the Leafs as well.
Fehr would certainly not be the worst option for the Leafs 4c position. He has proven in the past to
be a competitive 4c, but I don't think we will see him on the Leafs this year–barring injury. Aside
from his Stanley Cup, his past two years have been pretty lackluster (25pts 107gp), and it is evident
that he is starting to slow down physically.
3. Miro Aaltonen
What exactly have the Leafs stumbled upon in 24–year old Miro Aaltonen? A potential goldmine.

Iginla's Goal Analysis
Iginla Scores His 600th Goal The goal may not have been worthy of a highlight reel, but it was a
significant one. Colorado Avalanche, Jarome Iginla, became the 19th player to score 600 goals on
Sunday during a 4–1 win against the Los Angeles Kings. Said goal was not meant to go in the net.
Iginla was parallel to the right side of the net. His intention was to pass the puck across the crease. It
ended up ricocheting out Kings' defenseman Jake Muzzin's skate, ultimately going past goalie
Jhonas Enroth. This goal actually represents Iginla's career as a whole. It wasn't a flashy goal. It
wasn't a sharp shooting goal. It was a sneaky, unexpected goal. As a former Calgary Flames' player,
where he scored 525 of his goals, Iginla has never been

The Pros And Cons Of Fighting In National Hockey
What is the first image that comes to mind when you think of hockey? The Stanley cup? The
average amount of goals scored in a game? No, Most people think of fighting. Two people going at
it, trying to kill each other while on ice. There is a lot of controversy if this should stay in the game.
I think fighting should be allowed in the National Hockey League (NHL). Some of the reason why
fighting should be allowed in the National Hockey League are fighting could prevent other
injuries.Fighting is also used to protect amazing players that give a team an advantage. It gives other
people who are tough a job and a chance in the NHL.
To start off, Hockey is a very physical sport. But fighting has been in it forever. Fighting could
potentially prevent other injuries that could occur in a hockey game. Fighting in the NHL could
prevent other injuries because if there is not fighting and two payers are getting mad at eachother
they could hit each other harder and in ways that could hurt the other player. If there was fighting
there wouldn't be these injuries and players will not get hurt. Another reason why fighting could
prevent injuries is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Fighting can be used to show how tough a team is. This will show that they are a good team they
wouldn't let any goals in during a power play for fighting witch is a 5 minute major. Another reason
how fighting could give people a job in the NHL is becauses because ther are some players who get
in the NHL because they can fight. Hockey is a tough sport it's a very physical sport and with that
fighting can occur in most circumstances. If a player on the opposing team decides to hurt one of the
maine players on the other team, that team will send out a player to fight this will give people a job
and a chance in the NHL. This also leads me in to my next reason on why fighting should stay in the

As I put my black and gold jersey on, I thought of the outcome of tonight's game. Either the
Penguins come out as champions, or they are forced to game 7. I walked downstairs to put my shoes
on, and I saw my brother with his black and teal jersey on. We headed to the car. My mom was
already annoyed by how much my brother and I were fighting over who would win the intense
game. Finally, after a couple of minutes, we journeyed to the big game. After a long ride, we finally
entered the streets of Pittsburgh. We sensed the excitement and tense atmosphere of the city.
Everybody crawled the streets getting ready for the big game. When waited in line, it seemed like
the whole city tried to rush in. The line took about 45 minutes, but it seemed like hours. Finally, as
we went through security, we were dogs released from a cage. From the time we found our seats
until the beginning of the game, more and more people filled the massive arena. Many people filled
the seats up like sardines. When everybody arrived to my favorite place, we all waited for 8 o'clock,
the start of the game. By the time 8 o'clock came around the crowd already filled with excitement.
When it was time for the national anthem, everybody quieted down in order to respect the flag that
represents everything that allows us to be in that moment. The whole arena stood in silence as the
red, white, and blue banner flew over. When the words, "the home of the brave" filled the air,
everybody started to scream again.

Is Sid the Kid still the best player in the NHL? "Sidney Crosby has the 4th Best points per game in
NHL history. He has also won every possible individual and team award that can be won before the
age of 25. Crosby makes the players around him better (kunitz and dupuis). Crosby is always

around player being defensively responsible and his plus minus demonstrates this." Says a user from

instance i am a carolina fan and everybody loves Justin Faulk some think he is one of the best in the
league for D. However last night against the Red Wings he had a –3 +/– ratio, that leads me to
believe that Hanifan who was drafted by the Canes is leading up to be a better player than Faulk.
Hanifan who was +1 +/– ratio had an assist as the game progressed. Crosby who has been playing
with many very good players in the NHL is still the best, his line is almost never scored on and they
get more SOG (shots on goal) than all the other lines. Shots leads to dominating the game,
dominating the games leads to smarter hockey and more enthusiastic players. Yes Crosby is the best

one of its top young players in 1993–94, winning the Calder Trophy as the Rookie of the Year and
helping the Devils reach the Eastern Conference Finals in the playoffs. The following season, he
anchored the team's run to the Stanley Cup championship, allowing just seven goals in the Devils'

The following year, he was awarded his first of four Vezina Trophies as the league's top goalie, and

In 2005, the NHL instituted a change that limited the space goaltenders were allowed to cover. It
became known as "Brodeur Rule" for the effect it had on the Devils star, who was famous for
leaving his goal in pursuit of the puck. Brodeur missed nearly four months with a torn triceps
muscle during the 2008–09 season, but after returning he surpassed Hall of Famer Patrick Roy's
NHL record of 551 wins in March 2009. That December, he eclipsed the mark of 103 shutouts held

Essay History Of Hockey
For more than a century, hockey historians have found that precisely tracing the sports origin is not
only a difficult task but, a virtual impossibility. Therefore I can only try to deduce for myself, from
the records, claims, and accounts, which are available to me, when, where, and by whom the first ice
hockey was played. I'll also discuss the early problems and obstacles that the NHL encountered. Plus
I will also tell a little bit about early equipment, along with early game play and ice conditions that
players encountered. Lastly, the Stanley Cup, which is the most prized and oldest sports award of
the NHL. It has been won many times, by many different teams. Ice hockey is traceable to games

Although the rules for field hockey play a major role in the early evolution of ice hockey in Canada.
But most students of the game doubt that field hockey was the forerunner of ice hockey, for the
reason that both sports started around the same time. Despite its overwhelming popularity as
primarily a woman's sport in North America, field hockey didn't arrive in America until 1901, (when
Miss Constance Applebee of England arrived at Harvard summer school and organized a game with
the group of students and teachers. (Dolan page 29–31) The English played a game called Bandy,
which is a hockey–like game, who have been playing it as far back as the late 18th century and it is

the stars of the early Soviet hockey teams had been Bandy players. It is played on a large sheet of
ice with short sticks, a ball and large goals. The Dutch, long known for their ice skating ability, have

in the ice for goals. Evidence of this game can be seen it in 17th century Dutch paintings. Emigrants

Steve Yzerman: A Born Leader
On May 9th 1965 a leader was born, and that leader was Steve Yzerman. Yzerman was born in
Cranbrook, British Columbia. He began skating when he was a mere 3 years old, but was still a little
too young to play organized hockey with his older brother Mike, who was two years older. At age 5
Yzerman started playing organized ice hockey, but really couldn't skate all that well. In fact, his first
gino (goal) was scored because he had slipped up in front of the adversaries net and an opposing
defenseman bounced the puck off a teammate. Since Yzerman was the closest to the puck, he was
given credit for the goal. This was certainly not a foundation suitable for a legendary career.
As a young boy Yzerman played many different sports, but by age ten he gave up the other sports to
concentrate on hockey. He spent almost all his time on hockey and made it clear to people around
him that this was his one true passion. He progressed quickly and by the time young Steve was 14
years old he was playing tier two juniors with the Nepean Raiders in the Central Junior Hockey
League (CJHL). He never really put up outstanding amounts of points but he brought other things to
the game that made it clear he was a high caliber player as is shown with the following quote. (The

Personal Narrative: The Future Of Basketball
We're officially down to the final four in the 2016 NHL playoffs with the East and West Conference
Finals underway. Like every year, the playoffs have offered high–quality hockey with riveting
games throughout the postseason. There have been four seven–game series, all in the Western
Conference, that went back and forth, while shorter series have also had very competitive games.
Every night of postseason play has provided excellent theater, and those who haven't watched are
missing out.
There have been numerous surprises in the postseason that have not only given us fresh blood in the
final four, but sparked intrigue about how the future of the league will progress as teams could look
to mimic the remaining team's success. In the conference finals, you won't find the Chicago
Blackhawks, which won three Stanley Cups in the last six years, nor the Los Angeles Kings, which
won two Cups in the last four years. Both teams were bounced in the first round this year by teams
that are still alive for the prize. Not even the New York Rangers or Washington Capitals, which have
both reached the postseason in eight of the last nine seasons, advanced to the conference finals this
season.

Informative Essay: Why Hockey Is Popular In The World
Hockey has been played in a lot of places so this sport is very popular in the world. It is very
popular because there is a lot of national pride in the sport (NHL.com). The history of hockey

The growth in pro hockey has changed a lot. The players demanded money. The players played for
the biggest bidders because they were profound of money. Eventually they got indoor rinks, sheets

and solid team defense. Last year those two things were present at times but the solid team defense
seemed to disappear at the tail end of the season and going into the playoffs.
Led by captain Ryan McDonagh and veterans Dan Girardi and Marc Staal, the Rangers defense was

For many decades, writers and authors have accused the American influence on Canada as one of
the reasons why Canada is losing its heritage, with one major aspect being the game of hockey. The
institutionalization of American Culture began to take root in Canada during the late 1920's and
1930s as technological advances, specifically the invention of the radio, allowed Canadians to enjoy
American entertainment. American stations were much more reliable than Canadian ones, causing
American sporting stations such as NBC and CBS to become extremely popular in Canada (Gruneau
et al, 1993). As Canada was becoming intertwined with the United States (U.S.), it was becoming
less of a satellite of Britain, which made it tremendously difficult for Canada's elite to protect British
ideals such as self–improvement and participating in sport for the game's sake. (Gruneau et al,
1993). In the early 1940's, after the great depression forced many franchises to dismantle, the
National Hockey League (NHL) was left with six teams, which made up the famous "original six."
At this time, America had a strong influence on the game, as four of the original six teams were
based in the United States, and all of the players in league were paid in American dollars (Gruneau
et al, 1993). By the early 1960's, televised sports were emerging in North America, and NHL players
were becoming mainstream stars. Inspired by this, along with the threat of the NHL losing its
television contract to the Western

The Flag You have seen NHL fans wave the towels during playoff games for decades, and sport
teams all over the world follow the same. Who started all of that? Vancouver Canucks legendary
head coach Roger Neilson who was fed up with the reffing in the 1982 playoff game against the
Chicago Black Hawks. Nelson took the towel and put it on a hockey stick waving it around to signal
he was surrendering. The Canucks fans showed up with towels at the playoff games to support him
after that. There is even a statue of him waving a towel in front of Rogers arena in Vancouver.

The History Of The NHLAll-Star Game
The very first official NHL All–Star Game was held a long, long time ago – in the 1947–48 NHL
season. And many things have changed in those 62 years – the format of the All–Star Game, rules
etc. But there have also been "unofficial" ALL–Star games, like the Hod Stuart Benefit All–Star
Game in 1908 between Montreal Wanderers and the Eastern Canada Amateur Hockey Association
stars. It was something similar to the modern All–Star Games, but they were held for a beneficial
reason. So this first game was in honour of Hod Stuart who was a IPHL (International Professional
Hockey League – the predecessor of NHL) player who had drowned just after winning the Stanley
Cup. And til 1947 there have been several more beneficial All–Star Games like this.

Riding The Pine: Tim Bowling's personal reflection of professional hockey in "Na Na Na Na, Hey
Hey Hey Goodbye"
In "Na Na Na Na, Hey Hey Hey Goodbye," Tim Bowling, an author, poet, and a fishing boat
deckhand (Stewart et al 237), articulates how professional hockey has evolved over his lifetime. He
laments how a game he was enamoured with no longer captures his complete attention and is not as
relevant in his life as it once was. However, Bowling admits he still has a sheepish curiosity for the
latest news and highlights (238), is still "mildly attracted" (239) to the game for its grace, beauty,
and skill (239), and yearns for a Stanley Cup Final with two Canadian teams; most importantly a
final with the Toronto Maple Leafs and the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Like many Canadians, Bowling can recite simple statistics about the game; six of seven Sutter
brothers played in the NHL (239) or Bobbi Clarke's battle with diabetes are a couple of examples. It
is easy to determine, from his narrative and expressions, Bowling is a fan of hockey and has been
for his entire life. Like many other fans, he realizes the game has changed and in his opinion, not for
the better. Along with his narrative, Bowling uses contrast to support his opinion in such a way that
balances the old traditions with the new nuances of the game. For example, Bowling draws on some
parallels of one of the newest superstars in the league, Sidney Crosby, to unequivocally the greatest
player of the game Wayne Gretzky: Sidney Crosby "is expected to challenge the scoring statistics of
Gretzky one day" (239). Bowling continues to use contrast comparing the years it takes to master
skating with the simple fundamentals of running, jumping, and catching (239); basic skills used in
baseball, basketball and football. His view is that hockey players are the most skilled athletes in the
world and other athletes pale in comparison. Furthermore, he adds to this contrast by stating "if you
can't skate, you can't even take to the playing surface." (239); this description compliments the
demands, skill, grace and beauty of the game of

The New York Islanders Finished The 2016-17 Season On The...
The New York Islanders finished the 2016–17 season on the heels of a six–game winning streak
which included wins over four teams that would not be advancing to the Stanley Cup playoffs. In
the end, it wasn't enough to continue their modest two–season playoff streak. An ugly first quarter,
marked by questionable defensive coverage, poor transition play, a powerless play and questionable
management decisions will have them watching 16 teams compete for the ultimate prize from their
living rooms. The fact that their 94 points is just two shy of the NHL record for most while missing
the postseason (2014–15 Bruins had 96, 2006–07 Avalanche and 2010–11 Stars had 95) is no

Buried in Jack Capuano's anti–youth movement earlier in the year with sporadic appearances, it

My Greatest Fear Essay
For most of my early life I really didn't have many fears out of the ordinary. I was never extremely
terrified of anything other than needles. However, I encountered my biggest fear at my fifth grade
end of the year school awards ceremony. Up until that awards ceremony I never really felt what it
was like to lose. Little did I know losing would become my biggest fear from that point on. At the
fifth grade awards ceremony I only recieved my fifth grade diploma while most of the other students
received another award with the most common being the Accelerated Reader Award (AR). At my
elementary school there was a reading program called Accelerated Reader where students read
books and after completing the book would take a ten question quiz on the book and the more
difficult the book the more points it was worth. The school had a system called the "AR Point Club"
where every 25 points students would get shown on the daily school announcements in recognition
of their accomplishment. Every year up until fifth grade I would constantly be in the "higher" up AR
Point Clubs such as the 50 point and 100 point club. At points it seemed like I was a regular on the
school announcements because of how successful I was at this program. Then fifth grade came
around and my life changed a little bit. In fifth grade I got serious about playing hockey and also
joined the school band and played trumpet. At the time these seemed like huge commitments. Due to
these commitments reading

NHL Draft Game Analysis

implemented to determine the order of selection in the first round of the draft. The 14 teams that

that season to the most points, subject to the results of the draft lottery. The Draft Lottery is utilized

Teams must select the perfect combination of skilled players and "enforcers" (Jones, Nadeau &
Walsh, 1997). In addition to battling other enforcers, these players try to limit the success of
opposing skill players. The study suggests that the rougher and more violent a player is, the higher
his salary, thus incentivizing violence in the game of hockey. A culture of violence is embraced,
rather than discouraged. This violence trickles down from the ice to the crowds and to younger
generations in amateur leagues (Jones, Ferguson & Sunderman, 1996). In an analysis that reflected
on the culture of the NHL, the author argued the extraordinary amount of emphasis on winning
helps, either directly or indirectly, in promoting a violent culture in the game. He added that the
NHL "is perhaps the only sport, professional or otherwise, that encourages the use of physical
intimidation outside the rules as a legitimate tactic" (McMurtry, 1974). "The attempt to sell hockey

Crosby, being the talented player he is, many people compare him to Wayne Gretzky who is the best

makes it difficult to compare him to Sidney Crosby. But, since the evolution of hockey has occurred,
this means that Sidney Crosby is better overall, speed wise, acceleration, agility, and endurance.

hockey player in the world, he has been able to achieve many prestigious awards. Including the
greatest award one is able to attain in hockey,
Lord Stanley's Cup, in the 2008–09 Season. Crosby was then the youngest captain to ever win the
Stanley Cup in NHL history. Other great achievement's Crosby has attained is the Art Ross trophy,
which is awarded to the player with the most scoring points in a season. Another award he won that
same season, in the 2006–07 season, was the Hart Trophy (Fitzpatrick). The final and most likely
greatest achievement Crosby has made, is being the second youngest captain in NHL history. He did
hold the reign of youngest Captain for 6 years until, Gabriel Landeskog was named captain for the
Colorado Avalanche. Landeskog was only 11 days younger than Crosby when named, but he still

reasons why Crosby is better than Gretzky. With all the evidence supporting Crosby's case proves

Angeles, but he was very influential in every city he played in, captaining all four teams he played
on, a very impressive feat. However, he was only captain of the Rangers when the full–time captain,
Mark Messier was suspended. Gretzky's +/– rating is also very impressive, a +518 rating for his
whole NHL year. His +/– rating is one of the best all time. Gretzky's stats not only show he could
play by himself, but he was also a team player. Gretzky did not have the greatest success in the
Stanley Cup Playoffs, but he still did win a few rings. He reached the playoffs sixteen times, and
made it to the playoffs at least once with the four teams he played for. However, he only won
Stanley Cups with the Edmonton Oilers and he did that four times in five years: 1983–84, 1984–85,
and 1986–87,1987–88. Though Gretzky would have liked to win some more Cups, he is happy to be

Simmonds tapped in a perfect pass from Jakub Voracek late in the first period to tie the game at one,
then deflected a shot by Shayne Gostisbehere into the upper part of the net late in the second period
to give the Flyers the lead.

The Flyers led by two goals and were on a power play with less than two minutes left in regulation
when Simmonds tried to score on an empty net from deep in his own end. Icing was called and the
Blue Jackets pulled within 2–1 on the subsequent faceoff. Columbus tied the game with 8.9 seconds
remaining in regulation, then went on to win the contest in a shootout.
"It hurt," Simmonds told Philly.com Saturday. "It hurt a lot. It hurt me a lot. It hurt the guys. That
was an opportunity where we could have had two points and not possibly leave it to the last game.
So I needed to go out there and play my heart out for the rest of the season."
Simmonds turned the aforementioned blunder into motivation by recording seven goals and three
assists over his last nine games of the season – He did not play in Sunday's regular season finale
against the New York Islanders. His best statistical game during the stretch was on April 2 against
the Ottawa Senators when he notched two goals and an assist.
Simmonds reached the 30–goal mark for the first time in his career on April 7 against the NHL–
worst Toronto Maple Leafs when he tipped home a shot by Mark Streit with 58 seconds remaining
to salvage a key point for the Flyers. In 81 games this season, Simmonds had a team–leading 32
goals and 28

Chicago Blackhawks Research Paper
One of the best defenseman on the ice for the Chicago Blackhawks, my favorite player to be exact
when I watch or hear the name Duncan Keith, I start talking about you or watch you block some
shots and score some goals. Just so you know I am writing a compliment about you. In 2003, you
were drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks. I knew that you will be a great defenseman for the
Blackhawks. When you started playing in the 2005–2006 season you played all of the 81 games and
finished with 9 goals and had 115 blocks in the NHL season which is amazing. I actually went to
one game and saw you on your rookie season play at the United Center. I quickly got a
understanding how well of a player you are. The next couple of seasons In 2008–2009, you won

The Islanders Case Study
This impending offseason could determine the future of the Islanders. Many big names such as
Tavares, Bailey, Neal, E. Kane, etc. are due for new contracts in the 2018 free agency. Specifically
to the Isles, Tavares, Bailey, Halak, Chimera, de Haan, Gionta, Kulemin, Hickey, Seidenberg, and
Helgeson will test the market this summer. With so many free agents, it is virtually impossible to
retain them all, but who should stay and who should go? Who Should Go: Nikolay Kulemin, Dennis
Seidenberg, Jaroslav Halak, Seth Helgeson, and Jason Chimera Nikolay Kulemin: 1 goal, 2 assists,
13 games Kulemin played for the Islanders for four seasons as a constant fourth or third liner that
does the dirty work and is a great penalty killer. The NHL is ... Show more content on

He also has the record for most wins by a single goaltender in one season in Islanders history. Sadly,
his stats have quickly gone down ever since 2015. Halak is 32, an old age for NHL standards. The
Islanders can afford to resign Jaro, but it must come at the right price. Like Seidenberg and
Kulemin, the best years are behind him. The organization will be able to see whether or not Halak
should remain an Islander throughout the remainder of the season. It is probable that Halak will ask
for 2.5 million dollars per year, due to the fact that no team attempted to sign him last season when
he was waived by the Islanders. It is likely Halak will not be on the team next year because the Isles
are searching for a long term answer, plus Thomas Greiss is signed for the upcoming season. Jason
Chimera: 2 goals, 6 assists, 37 games Jason Chimera was an Islander for two seasons. He gave the
team a veteran presence and was a fill in for the loss of Matt Martin on the fourth line. Chimera
played a similar role to that of Seidenberg, except with the forwards. For most of his career,
Chimera was a Washington Capital and an Islander killer. He switched sides and had a sufficient
season last year, accumulating 20 goals. This year, father time has caught up to the 38 year old.
Rumors of retirement have started to surface because of Chimera's decline in play. There is a strong
likelihood that Chimera is no longer an Islander once the offseason

Jaromir Jagr Research Paper

  • 1. Jaromir Jagr Research Paper If any of these players retired tomorrow, there is little to no doubt they'll be inducted into the Hockey Hall of fame. 1. Jaromir Jagr Here's a no brainer of course, as Jaromir Jagr will likely even have his three–year eligibility wait waived. He moved into second place for all–time points last year (1,914), third in goals, and fifth in playoff scoring. Add an Olympic gold medal and two Stanley Cup rings, and you've got a future hall of famer. 2. Sidney Crosby "Sid the Kid" will have a similar legacy as Mario Lemieux, as he will absolutely dominate on the ice if he can stay off the injured reserve. Three Stanley cups, a pair of Art Ross and Rocket Richard trophies, along with two Olympic gold medals will certainly put Crosby's name in the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Their cup window may be coming to a close now, but Toews has no doubt proven his worth to the game. 4. Alexander Ovechkin The biggest smudge on his career will always be the lack of Cups, but Alexander Ovechkin's talent is just too proven to be overlooked. His seven 50 goal campaigns in the last decade might © 2017 Westman Editorial Page 1 of 2 Printed on: 10/6/17 make you believe you're watching the high scoring hockey of the eighties, but don't be mistaken; scoring has gone down considerably in the NHL and the Great Eight just manages to defy the odds. 5. Evgeni Malkin Somehow, Evgeni Malkin manages to fly under the radar year in and year out. His health concerns are the biggest issue, but rest assured he is still one of the top players in the league. Like Crosby, his three Stanley Cups, two Art Ross trophies and Conn Smythe award should put him safely in the hall of fame (and on the NHL's Top 100 players list, from which he was snubbed last year). Honorable mentions Pavel Datsyuk doesn't have the individual awards, but should be a lock once he retires from the KHL. Plenty of Cup–less veterans deserve a spot, including Jarome Iginla, Henrik Lundqvist and Jumbo Joe

  • 4. The National Hockey League Of Sun Belt Cities Introduction On August 8th, 1988 Wayne Gretzky gave a tearful farewell to Edmonton after being traded to the Los Angeles Kings. The Gretzky trade had effects beyond the two teams. The landscape of the National Hockey League changed in the years following the Gretzky trade. Ten years after the trade Anaheim, Dallas, Phoenix, Miami, San Jose, and Tampa were awarded NHL franchises. The National Hockey League's southern expansion was partially driven by the attendance increase the Los Angeles Kings experienced after the Gretzky trade. The goal of this essay is to determine what drives attendance in Sun Belt cities. Our study should interest sports economists in academia and National Hockey league executives who make decisions on the league's product placement. Team attendance is the dependent variable in the model and eleven independent variables were run in two different regressions. The first regression run was a Least Squares regression and the second was a time series regression. The time series regression was necessary to run since the results of the Least Squares regression may have been biased. The time series regression reveled two important conclusions. First, winning a championship had a positive and statistically significant impact on attendance in southern cities. Second, the time series regression illustrated that each city has special characteristics driving attendance that we cannot measure. • 6. The Spring Of 2017, By Jon Ledecky / Scott Malkin Era Of... This spring will be the latest in a series that has tested the mettle of the Islanders from top down – ownership, general manager, head coach and even players not excluded from the exercise. The spring of 2017 could, however, prove to be the most challenging and defining of all. We are officially at the end of year one in the Jon Ledecky/Scott Malkin era of ownership, Garth Snow remains at the helm of hockey operations and Doug Weight, he of 40 games of NHL head coaching experience, was seemingly the only option in a summer that saw at least four others looking for work with pedigree, and some even Stanley Cups, on their resume. We covered where the Islanders were this year in our annual season retrospective posted on Tuesday. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Not to mention structural issues with the building itself, wrapped in tinfoil or not. Who will be a part of Weight's staff? Doug Weight did a fine job taking over for Jack Capuano, leading the Islanders to the second best record in the entire league since he got the promotion at 24–12–4. He transformed how head coaches deal with the media by showing candor, humility and taking responsibility, all while holding players accountable. His press conferences were a can't miss. But, let's not forget, it wasn't all roses and sunshine. The powerplay struggles continued and cost the Islanders valuable points that could have gotten them into the postseason and they continued to be sloppy defensively, allowing five goals or greater in five of their last 12 losses. There was an ugly performance at home against Nashville and a horrendous first period in Philadelphia. Weight said via conference call yesterday [https://www.sny.tv/islanders/news/weight–discusses–decision–to–take–isles–job–plan– moving–forward/223837768/] to expect changes to the bench staff, but couldn't say whether it would be "one, two or five" and that he would begin the vetting process immediately with a focus on guys "who want to work, but mostly want to win". Who he chooses will be crucial to the success of the 2017–18 Islanders. • 8. Stanley Cup Research Paper The Stanley Cup In every sport there is a dream; for hockey, that is winning the Stanley Cup. The Stanley Cup is the Holy Grail of hockey. It consists of pure silver and nickel alloy ("Stanley Cup, Wikipedia".). It is a towering 32.25 inches tall (Podnieks 15.). As one may say after winning the Stanley Cup, It weighs about 35 pounds, but when held high and proudly above you, it is as light as a feather. Over the years there have been multiple champions of the Cup that dates as far back as March of 1893 when the Montreal Hockey Club won in the Amateur Hockey Association of Canada ("Amateur Hockey Association of Canada."; "Montreal Hockey Club."). Although the current cup is awarded to the winners of the National Hockey League, the cup was awarded to winners of multiple leagues and has been given to the winners of two leagues in one year a couple of times. The Stanley Cup is the greatest honour in hockey. It was brought over to Canada by Frederick Arthur Stanley. Stanley was born in London, England on January 15th, 1841 ("Frederick Stanley, 16th Earl of Derby"). In 1888, Stanley was appointed the job of Governor General of Canada and ... When Stanley became the Governor General of Canada, he and his family moved across the Atlantic Ocean to come start a life in Canada ("Frederick Stanley, 16th Earl of Derby"). It was at the 1889 Montreal Winter Carnival where Lord Stanley first saw hockey played between the Montreal Victoria's and the Montreal Hockey Club ("Stanley Cup, Wikipedia"). • 10. History Behind Lord Stanley Cup History Behind Lord Stanley The Lord Stanley Cup. The oldest trophy competed for by professional athletes in North America and the greatest thing NHL hockey players dream of to hoist and kiss after a season. Training, practicing, motivation and pushing themselves to get better is what all these players put the hours into for that moment. After battling 82 games for a playoff spot, then continuing to win 4 playoff rounds, of best of seven series, they finally get to have the moment they've all been working and dreaming for as a kid. To raise the Cup, kiss it, scream, and then pass it to your fellow teammate. But that's not why they do it. They do it because they had a dream as a kid and know the history behind what the Cup represents to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In 1927–1928, a new structure was streamlined and a vertical shape of the Cup was used and by 1948, the Cup became to tall to hold as well as even stand up without tipping over. This Cup was changed to what we see today with the wider rings at the bottom standing at 35 inches tall and 17 inches wide. Since 1958, 5 new rings were added around the base of the Cup for championship teams, which means rings had to be removed to maintain the structure of the Cup. The rings that get removed and preserved in Lord Stanley's Vault in the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. This ends the evolution of what the Cup is today and we can now see all the alterations done over the years, plus see how the NHL has kept all the history of the cup either on the cup or in Lord Stanley's Vault so none of the history is forgotten or left behind. Next, I will talk about the history behind how the Stanley Cup was nicknamed "Lord Stanley", how the cup is engraved and what the Cup does to help others. The original cup was bought for roughly $50 and donated from a man named Sir Frederick Arthur Stanley. Sir Frederick Arthur Stanley was a Colonial Secretary from 1885–1886 and the Governor General of Canada from 1888–1893, plus an avid sportsman. In 1892, he donated the cup and said, "I have for some time been thinking that it would be a good thing if there were a challenge cup which should be held from year to year by the champion hockey team in the Dominion of Canada. • 12. Miro Aaltonen : Fighting It Out For The Leafs Last Centre... Dominic Moore, Ben Smith, Eric Fehr and surprise standout Miro Aaltonen are battling it out for the Leafs final centre position. You know what's really exciting? For the first time in as long as I can remember, the Leafs are dealing with the problem that they have too many talented, NHL calibre Centres in their system. That right there is one of the only "problems" I would ever want the Leafs to have. As of this moment, Babcock has just a single spot left on offence to fill, and an abundance of players to fill it with. He has made it clear that the final 4c spot will go to the most standout player at training camp. With the preseason slowly dying off, and the real action ready to begin, lets take a look at who will be ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Eric Fehr Whereas Smith has little to no chance of joining the Leafs on the 4th line, Eric Fehr ranks slightly higher. The 32 year old veteran was acquired in March of 2017 in a trade with the Pittsburg Penguins. The same trade that saw Frankie Corrado finally freed. Over the years, Fehr has proven himself to be a noticeable force in the back end of any lineup. From 2012–2015, Fehr tallied 81 pts in 189 GP with the Washington Capitals. After his time with the Capitals, Fehr took an odd jump to Pittsburg, where he hoisted the Stanley Cup in 2016. Fehr actually had the opportunity to play a single game with the Leafs last year, but if you blinked, you might have missed it. About halfway through the game, Fehr blocked a shot with his left hand, breaking it.

He has proven in the past to be a competitive 4c, but I don't think we will see him on the Leafs this year–barring injury. Aside from his Stanley Cup, his past two years have been pretty lackluster (25pts 107gp), and it is evident that he is starting to slow down physically. 3. • 15. Iginla's Goal Analysis Iginla Scores His 600th Goal The goal may not have been worthy of a highlight reel, but it was a significant one. Colorado Avalanche, Jarome Iginla, became the 19th player to score 600 goals on Sunday during a 4–1 win against the Los Angeles Kings. Said goal was not meant to go in the net. Iginla was parallel to the right side of the net. His intention was to pass the puck across the crease. It ended up ricocheting out Kings' defenseman Jake Muzzin's skate, ultimately going past goalie Jhonas Enroth. This goal actually represents Iginla's career as a whole. It wasn't a flashy goal. It wasn't a sharp shooting goal. It was a sneaky, unexpected goal. As a former Calgary Flames' player, where he scored 525 of his goals, Iginla has never been ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 17. The Pros And Cons Of Fighting In National Hockey What is the first image that comes to mind when you think of hockey? The Stanley cup? The average amount of goals scored in a game? No, Most people think of fighting. Two people going at it, trying to kill each other while on ice. There is a lot of controversy if this should stay in the game. I think fighting should be allowed in the National Hockey League (NHL). Some of the reason why fighting should be allowed in the National Hockey League are fighting could prevent other injuries.Fighting is also used to protect amazing players that give a team an advantage. It gives other people who are tough a job and a chance in the NHL. To start off, Hockey is a very physical sport. But fighting has been in it forever. Fighting could potentially prevent other injuries that could occur in a hockey game. Fighting in the NHL could prevent other injuries because if there is not fighting and two payers are getting mad at eachother they could hit each other harder and in ways that could hurt the other player. I walked downstairs to put my shoes on, and I saw my brother with his black and teal jersey on. We headed to the car. My mom was already annoyed by how much my brother and I were fighting over who would win the intense game. Finally, after a couple of minutes, we journeyed to the big game. After a long ride, we finally entered the streets of Pittsburgh. We sensed the excitement and tense atmosphere of the city. Everybody crawled the streets getting ready for the big game. When waited in line, it seemed like the whole city tried to rush in. The line took about 45 minutes, but it seemed like hours. Finally, as we went through security, we were dogs released from a cage. From the time we found our seats until the beginning of the game, more and more people filled the massive arena. Many people filled the seats up like sardines. When everybody arrived to my favorite place, we all waited for 8 o'clock, the start of the game. By the time 8 o'clock came around the crowd already filled with excitement. When it was time for the national anthem, everybody quieted down in order to respect the flag that represents everything that allows us to be in that moment. The whole arena stood in silence as the red, white, and blue banner flew over. When the words, "the home of the brave" filled the air, everybody started to scream again. ... However last night against the Red Wings he had a –3 +/– ratio, that leads me to believe that Hanifan who was drafted by the Canes is leading up to be a better player than Faulk. Hanifan who was +1 +/– ratio had an assist as the game progressed. Crosby who has been playing with many very good players in the NHL is still the best, his line is almost never scored on and they get more SOG (shots on goal) than all the other lines. Brodeur appeared briefly in the NHL in 1992 before emerging as one of its top young players in 1993–94, winning the Calder Trophy as the Rookie of the Year and helping the Devils reach the Eastern Conference Finals in the playoffs. The following season, he anchored the team's run to the Stanley Cup championship, allowing just seven goals in the Devils' four–game sweep of the Detroit Red Wings. Brodeur made a mark on the sport beyond the accumulation of trophies. In 2005, the NHL instituted a change that limited the space goaltenders were allowed to cover. It became known as "Brodeur Rule" for the effect it had on the Devils star, who was famous for leaving his goal in pursuit of the puck. Brodeur missed nearly four months with a torn triceps muscle during the 2008–09 season, but after returning he surpassed Hall of Famer Patrick Roy's NHL record of 551 wins in March 2009. Therefore I can only try to deduce for myself, from the records, claims, and accounts, which are available to me, when, where, and by whom the first ice hockey was played. Despite its overwhelming popularity as primarily a woman's sport in North America, field hockey didn't arrive in America until 1901, (when Miss Constance Applebee of England arrived at Harvard summer school and organized a game with the group of students and teachers. He began skating when he was a mere 3 years old, but was still a little too young to play organized hockey with his older brother Mike, who was two years older. At age 5 Yzerman started playing organized ice hockey, but really couldn't skate all that well. In fact, his first gino (goal) was scored because he had slipped up in front of the adversaries net and an opposing defenseman bounced the puck off a teammate. Since Yzerman was the closest to the puck, he was given credit for the goal. This was certainly not a foundation suitable for a legendary career. As a young boy Yzerman played many different sports, but by age ten he gave up the other sports to concentrate on hockey. He spent almost all his time on hockey and made it clear to people around him that this was his one true passion. He progressed quickly and by the time young Steve was 14 years old he was playing tier two juniors with the Nepean Raiders in the Central Junior Hockey League (CJHL). He never really put up outstanding amounts of points but he brought other things to the game that made it clear he was a high caliber player as is shown with the following quote. (The Captain). There have been numerous surprises in the postseason that have not only given us fresh blood in the final four, but sparked intrigue about how the future of the league will progress as teams could look to mimic the remaining team's success. In the conference finals, you won't find the Chicago Blackhawks, which won three Stanley Cups in the last six years, nor the Los Angeles Kings, which won two Cups in the last four years. • 39. The American Influence On Canada For many decades, writers and authors have accused the American influence on Canada as one of the reasons why Canada is losing its heritage, with one major aspect being the game of hockey. The institutionalization of American Culture began to take root in Canada during the late 1920's and 1930s as technological advances, specifically the invention of the radio, allowed Canadians to enjoy American entertainment. American stations were much more reliable than Canadian ones, causing American sporting stations such as NBC and CBS to become extremely popular in Canada (Gruneau et al, 1993). As Canada was becoming intertwined with the United States (U.S.), it was becoming less of a satellite of Britain, which made it tremendously difficult for Canada's elite to protect British ideals such as self–improvement and participating in sport for the game's sake. (Gruneau et al, 1993). In the early 1940's, after the great depression forced many franchises to dismantle, the National Hockey League (NHL) was left with six teams, which made up the famous "original six." At this time, America had a strong influence on the game, as four of the original six teams were based in the United States, and all of the players in league were paid in American dollars (Gruneau et al, 1993). By the early 1960's, televised sports were emerging in North America, and NHL players were becoming mainstream stars. He laments how a game he was enamoured with no longer captures his complete attention and is not as relevant in his life as it once was. However, Bowling admits he still has a sheepish curiosity for the latest news and highlights (238), is still "mildly attracted" (239) to the game for its grace, beauty, and skill (239), and yearns for a Stanley Cup Final with two Canadian teams; most importantly a final with the Toronto Maple Leafs and the ... Like many other fans, he realizes the game has changed and in his opinion, not for the better. Along with his narrative, Bowling uses contrast to support his opinion in such a way that balances the old traditions with the new nuances of the game. For example, Bowling draws on some parallels of one of the newest superstars in the league, Sidney Crosby, to unequivocally the greatest player of the game Wayne Gretzky: Sidney Crosby "is expected to challenge the scoring statistics of Gretzky one day" (239). However, I encountered my biggest fear at my fifth grade end of the year school awards ceremony. Up until that awards ceremony I never really felt what it was like to lose. Little did I know losing would become my biggest fear from that point on. At the fifth grade awards ceremony I only recieved my fifth grade diploma while most of the other students received another award with the most common being the Accelerated Reader Award (AR). At my elementary school there was a reading program called Accelerated Reader where students read books and after completing the book would take a ten question quiz on the book and the more difficult the book the more points it was worth. The school had a system called the "AR Point Club" where every 25 points students would get shown on the daily school announcements in recognition of their accomplishment. Every year up until fifth grade I would constantly be in the "higher" up AR Point Clubs such as the 50 point and 100 point club. At points it seemed like I was a regular on the school announcements because of how successful I was at this program. Then fifth grade came around and my life changed a little bit. They draft in order of the fewest points scored in that season to the most points, subject to the results of the draft lottery. In addition to battling other enforcers, these players try to limit the success of opposing skill players. This violence trickles down from the ice to the crowds and to younger generations in amateur leagues (Jones, Ferguson & Sunderman, 1996). In an analysis that reflected on the culture of the NHL, the author argued the extraordinary amount of emphasis on winning helps, either directly or indirectly, in promoting a violent culture in the game. He added that the NHL "is perhaps the only sport, professional or otherwise, that encourages the use of physical intimidation outside the rules as a legitimate tactic" (McMurtry, 1974). • 73. Descriptive Writing The Stanley Cup Final It was this time of the year again. My friends and I bought tickets to go to one of our favorite events that we go to each year: The Stanley Cup final. This year, the two teams that were playing in the Stanley Cup Final were the New York Rangers vs. the Los Angeles Kings. The series was tied three to three and the winner of the next game (game seven) would be crowned champions. Game seven happened to be in New York at Madison Square Garden where my friends and I lived near, so we would not have to travel too far to get to the stadium. My friends and I decided to meet at a coffee shop near Madison Square Garden to go to the game together. As we were heading to the game, an old man approached us. My mind was racing with all these questions: "Who ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... But one day, Harbor saw some sort of submarine in the distance. They came out of their submarine and went onto the ship. They both fought for Harbor's soul, but eventually Torture won it with the roll of a dice. Suddenly, Death threw some sort of container that released some pinkish gas onto the ship and then they both immediately got in their submarine and left. As this was happening, the sun was vanishing and the moon was coming up. After a few minutes of coughing, all of the sailors suddenly turned their heads toward Harbor. They all glared at Harbor for a second and then they all dropped dead simultaneously onto the ship's deck. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
