To Whom It May Concern
This letter serves to recommend Katherine Pearson for employment. I worked with Katherine
during her tenure at Workhorse Custom Chassis and also at Autocar, LLC. It has been my
privilege to work with her as a colleague and as a valued team member in a variety of positions.
Katherine and I worked cross functionally for 4 years and we both worked as Commodity
Managers for 3 years while employed at Workhorse Custom Chassis. In 2007, I took a position
as Director of Strategic Sourcing for Autocar, LLC, where I had the opportunity to build my own
team. I hired Katherine as a Commodity Manager She was a lead negotiator and a reliable team
member. She is skilled in her understanding of business and works with integrity. She is result
oriented and highly organized, and has strength in systems.
I have also had the opportunity to know her in a personal setting. Katherine is a member of the
local YMCA and supports fitness. I can confidently say that she is the same person in the
professional atmosphere as she is in a personal setting. In both the professional and personal
environments, Katherine approaches everything she does with excitement and enthusiasm. She
demonstrates strength in her communication skills and is eager to learn. She takes on
challenges and embraces change. She will support others as needed and is also a born leader.
She is consistent, dependable, and trustworthy.
Katherine has set the bar high. Obviously, purchasing is a highly competitive field. Each time
our company sets a goal, we know Katherine will strive to achieve it and back up her
achievement with positive relationships. Purchasing is only one of her skilled areas of expertise.
Katherine would be a great asset in any area of business. She works for the good of the entire
company. She truly gets behind the job at hand, and she is genuine.
It has always been a pleasure to have Katherine in the office. She is a friendly, high-energy
individual with a great sense of humor. I would hire her again. Any company should be happy to
have Katherine on board.
Sincerely,
Thesa Hanlin
