Kadija was not present for the fourth day of shooting the music video. The group filmed Shenaya lip syncing and dancing in a tunnel next to a skate park. They aimed to capture shots that fit the beat of the music, and Shenaya danced well in time. However, they ran out of memory on the camera so Rojal had to use his instead. The tunnel location was very successful with an uncrowded space and graffiti backdrop fitting the urban theme of the music video.
2. I didn’t attend todays shooting because
I had to go to a university open day.
However me and the group had a chat
and they told me what they did and this
is what I found out …
3. MILE END TUNNEL
(NEXT TO SKATEPARK)
At the tunnel at Mile End they took shots
of Shenaya lip syncing (base tracks) and
her dancing. There shots are for the fast
shots that we will be including in our
music video.
4. OVERALL REFLECTION
From our chat that we had it seemed as
if they tried their best to make sure
Shenaya was dancing in the time of the
music, which she did well. Also the shots
had good framing. However a problem
that they had was there wasn’t enough
memory left, therefore Rojal had to use
his.
5. REFLECTION ON
SUCCESSFULNESS
In terms of location the tunnel was very
successful because it wasn’t crowded
and the shots of Shenaya could be
taken at ease without any distraction.
Also the overall look of the skate park
with the graffiti was successful because
just like the rest of our locations (apart
from the Olympic park – which is a
contrast) it links with the urban theme
that we want throughout our music
video.
