Your application for admission and supporting credentials should be filed as early as possible to allow sufficient time to
process your application, get your visa and arrange for transportation. The information and the documents you provide will

To be considered for graduate admission to Lakeland College, an international applicant must submit the following:

U.S. $50 to pay for the mandatory non-refundable application fee. The check or money order
must be made payable to Lakeland College. Payment by credit card is also accepted.

Two letters of recommendation, a current resume and a written statement [limited to 250 words]

an accredited institution verifying completion of a 4-year bachelor’s degree. If the documents are
written in a language other than English, complete and certified true English translations must be furnished together with
the official documents in that language. Photocopies or other copies must be certified true. All academic transcripts must
be signed by the appropriate school or government official and must include the seal of the school or government.

A minimum 500 on the paper based TOEFL, 213 on the computer based TOEFL or 79 on
the internet based TOEFL [iBT] is required of all graduate applicants who do not have a baccalaureate degree from an
English speaking country. The test must have been taken within the previous two years. If your TOEFL score is not up to
minimum, or if you do not have a TOEFL score, you may apply for admission to the Lakeland College English Language
Institute [ELI]. Lakeland College’s code is 1393. IELTS score of 7 could replace the TOEFL requirement.

application must be accompanied by certification that sufficient
funds will be available to meet both your living and tuition expenses while attending Lakeland College. Refer to the
Confidential Financial Certification for details.
l 7. RE or GMAT

Typically a cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least a 2.75 or a minimum score of 450 on the
Graduate Management Admission Test [GMAT] is required for admission. However, admissions decisions are made
with consideration of the candidate’s application in its entirety. Students may take up to three semester hours [1 class]
of graduate credit at Lakeland College before being formally admitted to candidacy in the M.B.A. program.
