State board kit
1. Testing Company
The NH State Cosmetology Licensing exam
cost is approximately $125.00. This fee
must be in the form of a MONEY ORDER.
This fee will cover the cost of the EXAM
and will be paid to the testing company
(DL ROPE) in June when the graduate
registers for the exam.
2. NH State Board of Cosmetology
The student will need 2 passport pictures
and $25.00 (approximately) upon
graduation to send to the NH State Board
of Cosmetology to fulfill the states fees for
their work permit. This allows the
graduate to register for the test and they
can start working in a salon ASAP.
Upon passing the licensing exam the State

additional $30.00 ASAP to receive your
official Cosmetology license.
3. Hotel In Concord
The graduates can expect to be taking their NH
Cosmetology Licensing Exam in August if they
pass in the required paperwork and fees by the
deadline. Please check the NH Board of
Cosmetology web site or DL Rope testing

Test registration can be as early as 7:00. The test
takes place in Concord, NH. Some students may
want to stay in Concord the night prior to the

making this convenient for the examinee. Cost is
approximately $100.00
