sources into their way of life. Power companies are erecting huge wind turbine farms in order to harvest more clean energy. Other companies are
attempting to lower their dependence on oil and coal reserves. Many individuals are even getting the "Green" bug. Homeowners around the country
are installing solar panels to gather solar power to supplement their home electricity needs. Federal laws even give incentives to install solar panels or
wind turbines. But in the State of Oklahoma, homeowners are penalized for installing these green power collectors.

The accumulation of greenhouse gasses (GHGs) in the atmosphere has been a debate topic among scientists since a long time ago as it contributes to
the risen of global surface temperature (Liddle and Lung, 2010). Carbon dioxide (CO2) has been pointed as the main greenhouse gas which responsible
for global warming and related changes in climate. It has been increasing significantly over the past century, compared to the pre–industrial era (about
280 parts per million, or ppm). Empirical studies which explicitly examine the link between population and pollution in a systematic quantitative
manner are very few in number (Cole and Neumayer, 2004).

Indonesian population growth has been slowed from the past decade (BPS, 2016). Indonesia approximately generated 215.6 terawatt hours in 2013 that
was the biggest electricity output in the ASEAN region (IEA, 2015b).
Global warming is the major issue that has severe consequences. For the sake of the planet before 2050, it is vital to limit the impacts. In order to
reduce the GHG emissions and energy consumption, some countries have taken measures or policies to increase the cleaner and renewable energy
sources. Because of the importance of reducing global warming, the Indonesian government has committed reducing minimum 26% GHG emissions by
2020. Indonesian flagship forest policy started since 2011 has lowered the GHG emissions from deforestation by 1–2.5% over 4 years. This
moratorium on new licenses to log or clear rainforest also extended from2 to 4 years (2013–2015). Indonesia's current policy projection is the National
Energy Policy (NEP) also set a relatively low bar for updating from fossil fuel to renewable energy sources, the target is 23% by 2030. The NEP also

Anthropogenic emissions of CO2 and other trace gases affect the atmosphere, ocean, biosphere and cryosphere (IPCC, 2014). These components of the
climate system stimulate interactions between each other ranging from synoptic to microscale processes and including everything in between. Since

This research is intended to further the understanding of how the Earth's climate will be affected with rising anthropogenic emissions.
Each of the world's countries contributes different amounts of both gas and particle emissions to the atmosphere influencing changes in weather and
climate on a daily basis. The main anthropogenic emissions in the climate system are Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Methane (CH4), Nitrous Oxide (N2O)
and Aerosols, each consisting of a different atmospheric lifetime. Since the United States endorses open access to scientific data, tools and resources to
conduct research, it is more beneficial to analyze the anthropogenic emission sources of the United States over other industrialized countries whose data
is not so freely available to the public (Auer et al., 2007). The United States is the second highest emitter or polluter in the world. The burning of fossil
fuels for electricity, heat, and transportation produces most of the United States' emissions. Due to the country's dependence on fossil fuels, the United

Introduction: In today 's digital era, advancements are being made everywhere in attempt to change the world for the better. We as a society are trying
to break through with technological discoveries, yet also try to cut down on our emitted green house gases; are both of these ambitions actually
feasible, and can they cooperate with one another? Obviously the manufacturing and use of our internet–connected devices contribute to the overall
pollution of the world, so no matter how efficient these devices are, there will always be room for improvement, however does their effect on our
environment really play that large of a part? The intended goal for this paper is to deconstruct the 'meaning ' and overall effect behind an average
North–American 's embodied greenhouse gases. Firstly I will be going over my methods of research and how I was able to derive my embodied
greenhouse gases of IT devices number through the analysis from Teehan and Kandlikar (2012) and refining it by using other research such as the
writings from Deng, Babbitt and Williams (2011) which focused in on the resources required through every stage in the process of manufacturing
these devices. Using my number, along with the number calculated by my peers, I will formulate an average emission rate (per person) to get a
reasonable number for what a typical first–world consumer might contribute to. I will analyze and discuss the data received in order to determine ways

Because of the importance of reducing global warming, the Indonesian government has committed reducing minimum 26% GHG emissions by 2020. Indonesian flagship forest policy started since 2011 has lowered the GHG emissions from deforestation by 1–2.5% over 4 years. This moratorium on new licenses to log or clear rainforest also extended from2 to 4 years (2013–2015).
