The lonely fish
There was a person who owned a fishbowl with 4 different goldfish in it. The
fish were a family that had known each other for a long time, and were living
happily together. However, one day the guy who owned the fish got bored and
decided to get another fish. Unfortunately, he didn’t think it was a good idea to put
the fish in the same bowl as all the others, so he put it in a new one. Unfortunately
he put the other bowl right next to the other one, so they could still see each other.
Being fish stuck in a fishbowl, none of these fish had much to do, so the family
of fish and the alone fish spent the days staring at each other. The lone fish was so
encaptured by the big, deep eyes of one of the fish staring back at him. How he
wished he could join them.
As time went on, the lone fish grew lonely and bored. He hated being stuck
by himself in a fishbowl. He wanted friends. But he couldn’t figure out how to break
through the glass. Eventually, however, he discovered the top of the water, and how
he could make tiny leaps out.
As he grew more and more desperate and suicidal, the lone fish debated
trying to jump into the other bowl. One day, deciding he couldn’t take it anymore,
he attempted to make the jump. At first, he went sailing through the air… until the
laws of gravity caught up with him and he landed on the table, gasping for breath.

2. However, the guy who owned the fish, was working at the computer right
next to them, and heard the plop. Turning around, he saw his fish stuck on the table,
having tried to jump into the other bowl. Deducing that he was lonely, he scooped
up the fish, and dumped him into the bowl where the other fish were. The lonely
fish was overjoyed to finally meet the other fish, and they were happy to meet him,
having witnessed his near-death experience.
So in the end, everyone was happy, and the fish proceeded to do… whatever
goldfish stuck in a bowl do. Until the man who owned them suddenly got hungry
and stupidly decided that goldfish make good sushi. It didn’t end well for either of
them.
