Goldie the goldfish was lonely living alone in his fish bowl. He envied the three other fish next to him who swam and played together. Goldie jumped into their bowl to make friends. At first they included him in their games, but soon he found it hard to get food or rest with the others. Goldie realized he preferred having his own bowl, where he did not have to share or compete for space. He said goodbye and returned to live happily alone again in his first fish bowl.
1. Fish Bowl Picture
Payton Paluch.
There was a goldfish named Goldie who lived a fishbowl all by himself. He was very
lonely. He never had anyone to swim or play with. He never had anyone to talk to
and socialize with. His days were always the same. He would wake up, eat, swim,
and sleep. Right beside his fishbowl was another fishbowl that had 3 other fish in it.
Their names were Fin, Sea Sea, and Sebastian. They were always swimming, eating,
and talking with each other. Goldie was jealous of the friendship the other three fish
had and wanted to be a part of it. One day Goldie decided he had had enough of
always being by himself and wanted to conform to society and make friends. He
knew it would be hard, but he had to make a super long jump to get into the other
bowl. Goldie backs up as far as he can, and leaps into the air and splashes into the
bowl that is filled with the other goldfish. Fin, Sea Sea, and Sebastian were very
friendly from the beginning and included him. Goldie was enjoying all of the
different games they played, but all of the fish kept running into each other, because
of lack of space. All the playing made Goldie really hungry. When it was time to eat
everyone rushed to the surface and started eating the food really fast. Goldie barely
got any and was still really hungry. Goldie was now really sleep and just wanted to
rest, hut since Sebastian, Fin, and Sea Sea wanted to keep playing and were loud so
Goldie couldn’t relax. Goldie really enjoyed making friends and having other fish
around, but now realizes he has less room to swim, has to fight for food, and cant
relax. Before he had the whole fish bowl to himself, didn’t have to share food with
anyone, and could sleep whenever he wanted. He said his goodbyes to Sea Sea,
Sebastian, and Fin and told them he’d visit again, and leaped back to his home.
