We had to look at a picture of four fishes and two small bowls; there are three in one bowl and the other fish is jumping from one bowl to the next. We had to come up with a story for the picture.

Fish Bowl Story
In this picture you see a fish trying it’s hardest to leave one bowl to the next with the
other fish in it. The reason these fishes are in another bowl is because they are trying to get away
from the other fish that is in the air. The fish in the bowl on the right thought it was too crowded
in the other bowl; it would make sense to have two fish in each bowl, but the one on the right had
three. Why does that one have three fishes you ask? It’s because they can’t decide who goes with
who and they don’t want to leave each other. This is why the last fish is in mid-air trying to get
to the other bowl with the most fish. These fish know that there is too many of them to be in the
same bowl; but they don’t want to leave each other. They have to decide which two fish must
leave to go to the other bowl. The problem is that they don’t want to leave each other; yes they’ll
be able to see each other through the glass. But they won’t be able to communicate like they did
while they were all in the same bowl. They don’t want to leave each other because they have
formed a family and they don’t want to leave each other’s side. Yes it would be better for the fish
to have two of them in each bowl and it can help break the tension that has been built between
them from being in the same bowl together for a long period of time. They can switch bowls and
the fish that they are sharing a bowl with anytime they want. They know they have to make a
sacrifice to help keep their family together. This sacrifice is to live in two separate bowls until a
bigger bowl comes into the picture. It may be for a short period of time or a long period of time;
but they know that they have each other and they can get through this. And they can always jump
from one bowl to the other if they need a break or if they want to visit each other. That’s what
this picture is telling about the four fish and two bowls.
