The Main Idea, located in Denmark, Maine, offers unique
and empowering summer camp experiences to
disadvantaged girls between the ages of 9 and 14. Sharing
a space with the renowned Camp Walden, The Main Idea
specializes in working with young girls who would otherwise
not be able to enjoy summer camp. The summer camp
program lasts 10 days and is carefully designed to provide
a dynamic, all-encompassing experience that allows the
campers to form lifelong bonds that are revisited every
summer.
