3. Overview
•Saturday, April 30th, 8:00am to 4:30pm (plus travel time)
•Sponsoring three homes on Chicago’s west side (Austin)
•Funded by the BT Diversity Council and Sustainability Committee
•60+ volunteers from BT and SII in Buffalo Grove and Mt. Prospect
•A day of fulfilling fun with your fellow employees, friends, and family
•Free donuts, sandwiches, snacks, t-shirts, etc.

Hattie Moore is a 60-year-
old woman who lives alone
in the home where she
raised seven children.
Suffers from severe
rheumatoid arthritis but still
works hard to maintain her
home with limited resources.
She volunteers part-time
with Easter Seals.

working 31-year-old single
mom with two grade-school
children, aged 6 and 9.
She works with disabled
children at Erie
Neighborhood House and
hopes to expand her in-
home daycare business.
She has been in her home
for one year.

Hubbard are an adorable,
fun couple aged 68 and 64
who have lived in their
home since 1973.
They are now retired but
stay active in their church
and block club.

Green Building Initiative followed.
Siemens received citywide recognition from news media, and City
Councilmen.
Siemens was asked to coach next year’s house captains because of
our project management skills:
130% tasks completed to planned timeline
Spending to budget - $2,275 spent/$2,500 budget
Met all key goals - Dry, Safe, and Warm
Bathroom, kitchen, 7 rooms painted; light fixtures, 2 new stairways
to basement, windows, security.
