This large master bathroom has been put together to take advantage of the views. The bathroom is floor to
ceiling tiles with the floor tiles and vanity made of marble. The large walk in shower is a built in structure which
includes no visual draining. The main feature of the bathroom is the free standing tub which looks out large
windows to green landscapes. The room is elegantly put together topped off with a beautiful chandelier.

The furniture layout is simple and usable with the couches surrounding the largest feature in the room - the grand
fire place. Furnishings have been chosen with consideration of the buildings naturals materials such as concrete
and exposed timber trusses.

The existing wall dividing kitchen
and living has been removed to
create a more open plan. The
new kitchen plan will be a
galley style kitchen and include
a central island with a breakfast
bar. This not only creates a large
working area but also allows the
living and kitchen area to work
together as one. The layout has
been cleverly thought out to
ensure an easy to use space.
The new kitchen includes a lot of
under bench storage for
convenience. A new built in
oven, ceramic cook top and
range as well as a dishwasher.
The chosen colour scheme is
neutral to provide a gentle and
welcoming environment for
potential tenants or property
users. The walls in the kitchen
will be painted the same
throughout the house - ‘half
thorndon cream’, a warm and
neutral yet modern colour. The
cabinetry will be ‘warm white’
for a crisp clean look that will be
complemented with a dark
granite bench top. The bench
top will also complement the
dark grey carpet and act as a
accent in the light filled space.

The wall dividing the small
bathroom and separate toilet have
been removed to create a much bigger
space.
The bigger space allows for the
modernisation of the bathroom
facilities which are generally a lot larger
than the previously existing ones.
A new larger shower has been
added and will fit into the same space
as the previous shower so that there
is no re-plumbing required. A round
edged shower still provides a larger
size but conceals the corner leaving
more floor and air space in the
bathroom. A new modernised toilet
which has been moved so that the door
does not open onto the toilet. This will
have to be re-plumbed. Also a new
vanity with a built in sink and under
bench storage space. The bathroom
will also have a heated towel rail and
a ventilation system installed. All new
products will be white for a fresh clean
look.
The colour scheme in the bathroom will
be white and painted in the
colour ‘alabaster’ to complement the
white bathroom products.

Assisting residential interior designer from a practical point of view. A yacht refit provides many
limitations and constraints to work within, I focused on space and flow and how the yacht is used on
a daily basis to create an interior that is aesthetically pleasing as well as functional.

Designed and sourced new modular furniture for the sun
deck aboard Carolina. The owners wanted to create a lounge
setting up top as they felt this part of the yacht was not used
enough. These pieces were specifically chosen for the size
and various configurations that can be made up from the
individual modules whether that be one large set up, two
smaller couches or individual modules.
