Supervision of TB-DOTS Services
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR (KPI):
100% of TB patient referral be doagnosed, treated and referred to RHU if
necessary
ACCOMPLISHMENTS/BENEFITS:
100% (718) TB referral catered while 261 were enrolled into treatment and
457 were referred to RHU
TB-DOTS
INNOVATIONS/STRATEGIES/PROCESS IMPROVEMENT:
Timely Submission of report to DOH for sustainable and availability of
logistics. Intensive monitoring of treatment compliance to ensure 100% of
success rate.
CHALLENGES ENCOUNTERED:
TB symptoms are similar with COVID symptoms, thus thorough
assessment and adherence to protocol must be strictly observe.

100% of admitted and walk-in client desiring to know their HIV status be
tested
ACCOMPLISHMENTS/BENEFITS:
100% (633 clients) were tested for HIV. 132 turned positive (+) and were
enrolled for treatment
INNOVATIONS/STRATEGIES/PROCESS IMPROVEMENT:
>Strict observance of confidentiality to gain trust and confidence of
client
>Effective counseling for new clients
>Provision of a safe, open and welcoming environment for the clients
CHALLENGES ENCOUNTERED:
>Some symptoms are similar with COVID thus thorough assessment
and adherence to protocol is strictly observe.
>It has always been a challenge on how we can maintain the mental
health status of the client with the help of our counseling amidst the
struggles of COVID pandemic
>Implementing the confidentiality issue among other staff/dept.
>how to maintain the client adherent to Antiretroviral therapy
>How to extend our services to clients who resides in far flung areas
