Gloria’s mouth dropped
open. Her eyes were as
big as apples. Her
eyebrows raised up like
an elevator. She gasped
and her body got as stiff

Jack’s face was as red as a tomato. He
looked like he was about to explode.
His face was wrinkled up and he was
making a growling sound.
Tasha had sweat trickling down her neck. She felt
like she was in the sizzling desert. Her face and
body turned completely the color of flame. She
was numb everywhere and could barely move.

Max clutched his arms
around his body. He
shook like a furless cat
frozen in a box of ice.
His teeth chattered. He
twitched and bit his lip,
grasping his flimsy         by Taylor
sweater.
Sammy had tears coming
            down his face. His
            glasses were fogged up
            and he was rubbing his
            eyes. His smile was
            turned upside down and
            he was sobbing. His

            over.
Lisa jumped up in the air. She clapped her
hands and whooped. Her smile was never-
ending. She twirled in circles and waved
her hands about.

I was drooped down with my head sagging
toward the ground. I began chugging
water. My face was beet red with sweat
dripping down my face.
Mr. Salsich’s eyes
drooped and his head
dropped like a dead
fly. It looked like he
fainted. He moaned,
yawned, and then he
began snoring!

I was stomping my feet. I felt like my
head was on fire. My hands were
clenched and a low growl came from
my mouth.

           crazy and trying to
           catch my breath. My
           face was as red as a
           ripe strawberry.

I was clenching my hand so hard that my
hand almost exploded. I stomped my feet
so rapidly that I almost fell through the
floor. My face was as red as the inside of a
watermelon.
George shivered and
his teeth chattered. His
face felt like it was
freezing into ice. His
lips turned blue. All I

My eyes got watery
            and then my nose
            started sniffling. My
            mouth began to
            quiver and then tears
            began to roll down my

I was sweating and breathing heavily. I felt
like I was going to collapse. My hair was
sticking to my face. My back was bent over.
I felt like I was in an oven!
I was bursting out with
laughter and my smile went
from ear to ear! My rosy
red cheeks were glowing
and my face lit up like the
sun. My eyes were as big as
marbles. My face was like
all different colored         by Sophia
fireworks.
Frank’s hands were trembling
uncontrollably. His eyes were as wide
as saucers. He cowered backward.

Mr. Salsich fell onto his desk with bags
under his eyes. Suddenly there was a loud
yawn coming from his desk. Everyone
turned around to see Mr. Salsich snoring at
his desk! “Honk… Shoo. Honk… Shoo.”
Greg’s tongue was hanging right out of his
mouth. His skin was sizzling. Drips of water
were rolling down his neck. He could barely
walk and he panted, “Huff, huff, huff!”

My hands were squeezed close together. Then
my face turned red and my eyebrows scrunched
up. I stomped my feet and ran around like crazy.
It felt like steam was coming out of my ears.
