- Today we are going to be discussing your companies on-line future and the utilization of mobile technologies, tablets and how HTML 5 will help you accomplish your goals.\n
- Your company decided some years back that you needed a web presence so what did you do? You hired the bosses kid to design a website with lots of information, some photos, and how to order over the phone. This worked well until your competitor started selling on-line, so you had to get an online shopping cart to stay competitive. Then your competitors started sending out a monthly newsletter via-email. Naturally, you did the same only on a weekly basis. So…what will be the next thing to happen? Will you be following your competitors, or will you be leading the way?\n\n
- In today’s marketplace, clients and prospective clients are viewing your company in a multitude of ways. They are using devices like mobile phones and tablets in addition to their computers.\n\n
- They are also gaining information on your company through blogs, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and a multitude of other social networking sites.\n\n
- Companies in the know are are investing in their future. They see the potential of revenue growth through the growing use of mobile and tablet usage and are optimizing their sites to target these applications.\n
- Mobile users spend money! Not only that but the are more than willing to spend in high dollar amounts. The dollar growth of this segment is nothing short of astonishing.\n
- Can they see you? The answer is probably not. Your site was designed in the days before browser optimization, mobile apps and tablets, using HTML 1 and maybe upgraded to HTML 4. At the time of its design this was fine, but in todays marketing climate, it is ancient.\n\n
- Invest in your web presence marketing just as much, and maybe even more than you have in your traditional marketing. Nothing short of a total redesign of your website and restructuring of your marketing plan will assure your future in the modern marketplace. \n
- In order for you site to function across all platforms, they must first be properly coded and optimized. This can easily be accomplished through the use of HTML 5, CSS 3 and various graphic scripting such as Java. The redesign may not be an in-expensive endeavor, but it is an essential investment into your company’s future.\n
- You say you want to lead the way and are willing to do whatever it takes. Well then you must upgrade! Your site is antiquated, lacking the ability to be viewed and thus utilized on mobile devices or tablets. The competition is on mobile and gives their clients or prospective clients the ability to get quotes and pay via their mobile device. Your prospective clients will be researching you and your competition. Your website is your business card. What does it say about your company?\n
