3. Reverse Osmosis is a membrane technology filtration
method.
Which removes large molecules and ions from
solution by applying pressure to the solution.
Reverse osmosis is the process of forcing a solvent
from a region of high solute concentration through a
semi permeable membrane to a region of low solute
concentration by applying a pressure in excess of the
osmosis pressure.

5. It is mostly used for get drinking water from
saline water.
Thickness of permeable membrane is just 100 –
150 micron.
And Diameter of small halls is 0.0001 – 0.001
micron
