My Dream As A Teacher
From a young age I have always wanted to teach and inspire others to learn. This was heavily
influenced by my upbringing as my dad has always taught me that you can never have too much
information and any new skill you learn is a new skill you can use. I enjoy sharing my knowledge
and learning from others. For me personally I believe that teaching is such a valuable career choice
as the devotion and passion required from teachers is what is needed to be able to deliver the best
education for the students.
I would love to teach young adults and inspire them to want to learn and find out new information
and skills and to grasp all they can while they are at school. I want my students to feel supported in
their career paths and I hope to be there to assist them achieving their dream career/job. As a
compassionate person I would like the opportunity to help kids who don't think they can be at
school and won't ever be successful to change that perspective and help them come up with plans
in how they are going to achieve what they would like. Coming from a business degree majoring
in Human Resource Management and Public Relations, it has reinforced for me my desire to
teach and/or train people. Since April 2016 I have been working with QUT as a Widening
Participation Ambassador, and this has reminded me of my career idea as a child to be a teacher in
high school as I really enjoy my job liaising with students.
My dream job is to have the ability to help and teach students about history and where we have
come from to get us to the present day. As a student I remember History being one of my
favourite subjects as I loved learning about all the facts of the past, and I would love to be able to
share our history with students. History to me shows how far we have come as a society as well
as the mistakes we've made along the way, and represents us as people today. I believe a key part
of Modern History is the recent technology progressions, and how much things have changed within
just 50 years. To teach history to students would be a great privilege.

I would say that because you want to teach the kids what are important and valuable in life. That
would be a great information to teach children at a young age. The philosophical orientation that
suits my teaching style the best is perennials. This is the one suits me the best for the reason that, I
want my students to receive the best education they can get.
I am going to maximize the student's learning in my classroom by having everything organized. I
would make my lesson plans ahead of time so that I am not stressed. If the teacher is less stressed,
than the children would be relaxed. I personally believe that it will be an easier way, if you have all
your lessons planned out ahead of time.
I will motivate my students to have their work done by doing something fun in the classroom or
giving them the option to not have homework a few times a year. I believe this will allow them to
do their work, for the reason that children like to be motivated when they have nice opportunities
thrown at them.
I will meet the diverse needs and learning styles of my students by making sure that I have the
classroom in control. I will talk about the diverse needs once a week to teach my students about how
important it is to know about this subject.

My Most Memorable Teachers Essay
My Most Memorable Teachers For some reason or another certain students are drawn to particular
teachers while other students are more fond of others. In my life I have studied under three
memorable teachers. Teachers with which I was able to connect, to laugh, to share my misgivings.
While I may have been close with each of these teachers, it is very clear, in retrospect, that each was
very unique, and represented an entirely different class of teacher.

Her class of teachers take their jobs very seriously, and do not tolerate students who skip or disrupt
their classes. These teachers are fun, because once you get them off on some irrelevant tangent,
they will keep themselves going on it for entire class segments, trying to get out years of thought
and consideration in just a short period of time. This is how I got to know my psychology teacher,
because I was the one who kept her talking, so that the class could avoid taking the quiz that none of
us had studied for. Teachers like her have the innate gift to educate and entertain, with their
comprehensive lessons and subtle quirks.
Finally, I come to my high school horticulture teacher, whom I studied under for so many years
that by the time I was a senior, we talked to each other on a first name basis. He belonged to a
small class of teachers who are personally important to every young adult. This class of teacher is the
buddy, the friend. The teacher with whom you can talk about anything, be it the trouble you have
been having with your girlfriend, the high–potency marijuana that you smoked over the weekend, or
just the dirty jokes you heard the day before. These are the teachers with whom you simply share

My Goal As A Teacher
My goal as a teacher is to encourage and challenge students as they develop their learning skills.
Teaching young intellects is a significant undertaking and will not be taken casually. It is a
position that is filled with many frustrations, challenges and responsibilities. However, it is a job

1. Instructional Context–My class includes 25 five and six year old kindergartners; 24
African–American students and 1 Caucasian student. I have 11 girls and 14 boys in my full–day
kindergarten class where I teach language arts, math, science, social studies, and health. My class

focusing. I also enlisted a 5th grade student to serve as a "shadow" for my autistic student, so that

My High School Teacher
My high school teacher, a lady, has inspired me to become a teacher. She demonstrated to me how
caring, enthusiastic and accessible a teacher can be to students. She inspired me with her unlimited

Being a teacher means being compassionate, tolerant and responsible for their students, the

I remember my favorite teacher vividly even though I sat in her class many years ago. I have so
many fond memories of her and took so much from her class. I can only dream of touching a
child's life in the way my favorite teacher touched mine. For just one student to think of me in the
same way would make all the years of hard work worth the effort. I also want my students achieve
many accomplishments. I want them to use and remember what they have learned in my class. I

My vision for my future classroom is to create an atmosphere where each individual feels accepted
and valued. It is my goal to discover ways to make learning innovative, enjoyable, creative, and

Some students have one set method of learning and grasping material and cannot deviate from the
method. If so, the students have a hard time handling the material. We must incorporate various
teaching styles to correlate to each student.
We need to make learning fun for students and refrain from the usual "Mom, do I really have to go
to school" kind of day to having students who are eager to learn and state "Mom, is it time for
school yet?" We as educators and teachers must strive to meet a middle ground with our students so
that all are willing to learn from the teaching process.
The five step proposal by John Dewey would be an excellent method for solving problems: become
aware of the problem, define it, propose various hypothesis to solve it, examine each consequence
and test the most likely solution.
As you observe the classroom, some students will be taking notes while others are sleeping or
talking. Students who are sleeping or talking will not learn as well as the students taking notes. We
should make our class diverse by providing various activities, projects and learning experiences
among our students. A teacher can also keep students active by reviewing and receiving feedback

Specifically, that not all students are there to learn! College professors may have an assumed
understanding, or trust, that student at the college level are there to learn. I'm sure there is a great
deal of truth in this unspoken trust. However, I have encountered a few walls in my own journey of
learning that were unexpected. I have become aware that I am not always striving for complete
understanding, I just want to pass the next test. Or just need to get through a mandatory, prerequisite
class with a reasonable grade so I can get onto the topics I enjoy. Although the motives are less than

My time observing at Martin Luther King Jr Middle school was such a learning experience. As a
future teacher I learned a lot about myself. For one, I learned that being a teacher in a Title 1
school is not for me. Our course text in chapter 4 stated that there is a shortage in the right kinds
of teachers in urban communities. The book is absolutely right. When it comes to kids in Title 1

Wednesday, July 19th, I had a chance to observe carefully an infant for about half an hour in my
psychology class at Santa Monica College. The infant, Ali Osman, a healthy, playful boy appears
to be of Middle Eastern origin. He is 15.5 months old, 32" tall and weighs about 24 lbs with brown
curly hair, dark brown eyes and fairly tanned skin.
There were several kinds of toys like blocks, dolls, and automobiles in the room. However, when he
just came in, he was immediately drawn to the dolls with intense interest and focus. Even though

Ali is quite a friendly kid, he is not afraid to be with strangers proven by the fact that he could
interact very comfortably with me, my classmates, and other babies. However, when there were
some unfamiliar things happening (like when the new baby twins came in or when someone made
a scary face to him), he always looked for his mother and ran toward her as described in
proximity–seeking behaviors (Berger 226). He is a representative of secure attachment by
showing that he had no problem with being away from his mother and exploring on his own
(Berger 228). Besides, he also reacted to the Strange Situation the way we expected from a secured

something, clearly wanting me to read it to him. His intention was well understood. Without

My motivation for being a teacher comes from somewhere deep within my heart and soul. I love
children. I love the look that comes across their faces when they finally grasp a concept after they

Have you ever just sat down with a blank piece of paper for what seemed like forever, tearing
down every idea before you even wrote it? It takes forever to write an essay. There are so many

mysterious as a foreign language so this could be true. No matter how many times you have heard
what the details of a paper are: a topic, introduction, body paragraphs and a conclusion, these things
have no meaning. Until you know what they mean you are just putting a bunch of words together

relationship with your students no matter what the age is. Of course, there tends to be a mere
dependency at a certain age whether it is 15 or you go younger, but at the same rate there is also
always that establishment of respect and responsibility. I am a very big believer in individualized
teaching, but with the establishment of respect and responsibility the goal is the same from the

I truly believe that education is the key to success. Success comes in different stages. Before a child
can be successful outside of school they must fist be successful in school. Children need to learn to
have confidence in their abilities and their work. They also need to learn to have confidence in
themselves. They need to understand that they are special, ante that they are wonderful for just
being themselves. As a teacher, I hope to influence children not only in their core curriculum but
also in their ability to solve problems. In my classroom, I don't necessarily want the students to
memorize facts, bi I want them to learn and retain the information on how to find the answers. They

My classroom will be very hands on. Children learn things better when they experience them first
hand. They learn how volcanoes erupt the same way they learn that the stove is hot. That said, not
everything can be taught in this manner. Many things in my classroom will be taught through the
exploration of books. Children need to be taught that learning is fun or they won't want to learn.
We all know that if someone doesn't want to do something they won't do it. I hope to be able to

When I first come to Saint Cloud High School, I was uncertain of how I would fit into the world
of education as a teacher, in fact, this was my first teaching practice. After completing a few
observations, I changed my view and recognized my teaching abilities. I was able to learn many
different things that will be helpful to me when I become a certified teacher someday. Although I
could face many possible challenges in the classroom, I have many of the strengths it takes to be

My Motivation For Teaching A Student Essay
My motivation for teaching is to make a difference in a students life. The feeling of teaching a
child a lesson, and them understanding it, is a rewarding experience for a teacher. I have babysat
for about 6 years, and being around children makes me happy and I love the relationships that I
have built with all the kids I have cared for in the past. What really motivated me to go back to
school for teaching, was this past summer after having the opportunity to be a camp counselor.

  • 1. My Dream As A Teacher From a young age I have always wanted to teach and inspire others to learn. This was heavily influenced by my upbringing as my dad has always taught me that you can never have too much information and any new skill you learn is a new skill you can use. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and learning from others. For me personally I believe that teaching is such a valuable career choice as the devotion and passion required from teachers is what is needed to be able to deliver the best education for the students. I would love to teach young adults and inspire them to want to learn and find out new information and skills and to grasp all they can while they are at school. I want my students to feel supported in their career paths and I hope to be there to assist them achieving their dream career/job. As a compassionate person I would like the opportunity to help kids who don't think they can be at school and won't ever be successful to change that perspective and help them come up with plans in how they are going to achieve what they would like. Coming from a business degree majoring in Human Resource Management and Public Relations, it has reinforced for me my desire to teach and/or train people. Since April 2016 I have been working with QUT as a Widening Participation Ambassador, and this has reminded me of my career idea as a child to be a teacher in high school as I really enjoy my job liaising with students. My dream job is to have the ability to help and teach students about history and where we have come from to get us to the present day.   • 5. 1. Instructional Context–My class includes 25 five and six year old kindergartners; 24 African–American students and 1 Caucasian student. I have 11 girls and 14 boys in my full–day kindergarten class where I teach language arts, math, science, social studies, and health.
