This document discusses Universal Design for Learning (UDL). It notes that curriculum needs to be designed to meet the diverse needs of all students by being flexible, accommodating, and providing support and challenge. UDL incorporates increasing technology use, multiple presentation and assessment sources, and student choice. When implemented, UDL is expected to result in students earning higher grades, becoming more self-motivated and engaged. The document also discusses assistive technology and examples that can help students with disabilities perform tasks independently and excel in regular classrooms.
