The Growing Inequality Of America 's Economy
The main key idea in this film is that America's economy has nearly doubled, yet almost all of the
benefits have went to the top 1%. Robert Reich touches on the growing inequality between the
middle class Americans and the top 1%. He talks about how in the last 30 years America has just
been getting richer and richer. Despite all the success our country has been having somehow the
middle classes rates have flattened out and they are being taxed much more than the richest people

This was a special wartime office, created to encourage American agricultural production and food
conservation and to coordinate a rational distribution of food. When the war ended in November
1918, President Woodrow Wilson sent Hoover back to
Europe to direct the American Relief Administration, an agency intended to relieve the suffering in
Europe caused by the war's destruction.
Hoover's public reputation was enormous as a result of his activities in these offices, and some
persons looked upon him as a presidential candidate in 1920. He had never participated in partisan
politics, but he did declare himself a Republican while refusing to seek the presidency that year. In
1921, Warren G. Harding appointed Hoover secretary of commerce, a post he held until he began his
own presidential campaign in 1928.

As secretary of commerce, Hoover made his most important contributions to public policy. He was
so able and active in the administrations of
Warren G. Harding and Calvin Coolidge that observers often referred to him as "secretary for

Theodore Roosevelt was born in New York City, New York on October 27, 1858.
He died in Cove Neck, New York on January 6, 1919. He was 60 years old.
President Roosevelt's wives names were Alice Lee and Edith Carow. He had six
children, two daughters and four sons. Their names were Alice, Theodore III, Kermit,

the Frances Perkins life up until her early years as the Secretary of Labor under President Roosevelt.
She was not only a vital labor advocate but a woman's suffrage leader. Her up–bringing, education,
influences, alliances, work history, and the changing world around her shaped her into an

Recently, this position has moved into a more important role than it ever did previously. Department
of State: presently Secretary John Kerry leads the state department. One of the original cabinet
