Title: Marking and cutting out the leaves
What did I do?
Today, I continued to create my project. When I first
went into the workshop, I took out my project from
my box and began to make the leaves. Even though
I was able to start measuring and marking out my
leaves in the last lesson, I couldn't find any piece of
wood that was available at that time. So, I had to Picture 1: Picture of me marking out the leaves on
ask Mr. Anderson to cut a piece of wood for making the wood by using pencils and template
my leaves. So, in today’s lesson, I was able to start
making the leaves on the proper size of the wood.
While I was measuring and marking out the leaves, I
used the outlined shape of my leaves, which was
drawn on a piece of paper(template). It was easier
for me to draw an exact shape of my leaves by
printing out the enlarged size of my leaves. I was
able to reduce the time I had to consume in drawing
the leaves right on the wood. I only used the pencil
while I was marking out the leaves. When I was
finished with marking out the leaves, I continued to Picture 2: Picture of me using the jigsaw to cut the
leaves
cut the leaves that I have outlined. During the
cutting stage, I used the jigsaw to cut the lines. If I
used the coping saw to cut the leaves, then I
would have used consumed a lot of time in cutting
the leaves. I used almost one lesson to complete
the cutting stage. When I was finished with the
cutting part, I began to sand the side parts of the
leaves with sanding paper. This helped the leaves
surface smoother.

2. Changes in the plan <gantt chart>
There were some changes of my gantt chart. I was able to catch up with my plan even though I was very
slow in making other parts, I was able to catch up with my plans.
Emotions
During the lesson, I felt very proud of myself that I was able to complete making the leaves. This was the
final part that I needed for making my project. By using different kinds of method for measuring, I was
very pleased with the fact that I could finish it with good quality

From today’s lesson, I was able to finish marking and cutting out the leaves. I think I was organized
because I could use the time wisely to complete my task on making the leaves. What is more, I think the
lesson that I had today was related to human ingenuity because I was creating a part for my project.
