I am a resident of Augusta in Georgia State. The city is the second–largest in the state with a
population of 197872 according to the 2012 census. Georgia State is the 24th largest and 8th most
populous state in the United States. The Southern State is multi–racial, composed of 59.7% White,
30.5% Blacks and 0.3% American Indians. It was historically composed of half black population
who were exclusively slaves. According to economic surveys conducted between 2007 and 2008,
fourteen countries from the State were ranked among the nation's 100 fastest growing. It borders

uncovered, put together with written documentation, that we can tell the story of the way people
lived. With the Jamestown Rediscovery, artifacts are analyzed and put together with written
documentation to piece together the story of what happened to the people of Jamestown. Through
such artifacts such as clothing materials, the bones of animals, and the remains of the teenage girl
names "Jane", we can scientifically couple the evidence to learn about the early settlement on the
James River.
First, the question, "How do we recapture the lives of people who left no written record?" is not a
fair question to ask. There is written record. There may not be written record of the dates, time and
actions of the colonists themselves, but there is written record outside of Jamestown. There is

early German settlers that eventually joined the natives, warned them in advance about the attack.
After the failed raid, Smith returned to the fort to find the food storage infested with rats and worms.

Assessors and consolidate all assessment functions to Lake County. They proposed moving from the
current system of 18 locally elected Township Assessors with an appointed CCAO, to a centralized
system of one appointed county assessor who controlled the whole assessment process. The study
estimated that this centralized assessment process would result in a reduction of $4.4 million dollars
in overall county–wide costs. This reduction in costs would eliminate the 18 local assessment
