Your
grade
for
this
course
will
be
based
on
your
performance
on
the
Weekly
Action
Sheet.
Tasks
to
be
completed
include
(but
are
not
limited
to):
re-‐shelving
books,
straightening
shelves,
keeping
books
in
the
correct
order,
greeting
library
customers,
solving
technology
problems,
and
working
at
the
front
desk.

Expectations
• Greet
every
library
customer
as
they
enter
the
library.
• No
eating
or
drinking
at
the
front
desk
or
any
computer
station.
• Complete
all
assigned
tasks
daily.
• Friends
may
not
congregate
behind
the
front
desk.
• Stay
at
the
front
desk/put
books
away
until
the
bell
rings.
Please
do
not
attempt
to
leave
early
or
stand
near
the
door.
You
will
be
dismissed
when
the
bell
rings.
• You
may
only
work
on
homework
once
all
other
tasks
have
been
completed,
and
you
have
obtained
permission.
• Follow
directions
as
given
by
Mr.
Dunn
and
Mrs.
Kramer.
• Other
expectations

be
conveyed
both

Library
Basics
September
6th
–
November
22nd
Tasks/Topics:
Checking
books
in
and
out,
shelving
fiction
and
non-‐fiction
books,
using
the
laminator,
working
the
front
desk,
checking
library
inventory,
checking
and
organizing
the
shelves.

2:
Help
Desk
September
19th
–
November
22nd
Tasks/Topics:
Google
Forms,
answering
Help
Desk
phone,
generating
Help
Desk
Tickets,
replacing
Promethean
Board
projector
bulbs,
helping
students
and
teachers
with
common
computer-‐related
questions.

3:
Template-‐Based
Web
Design
September

October

Tasks/Topics:
You
will
learn
how
to
use
template-‐based
website
design
programs
(e.g.
Weebly,
Wikispaces,
Blogger,
Google
Sites)
to
create
basic
websites.
Your
project
will
be
to
work
with
a
teacher
or
club
sponsor
to
create
a
website
for/with
them,
and
show
them
how
to
maintain
it.

Computer
Hardware

Learn
how
to
fix
basic,
common
computer
problems
in
the
Library
computer
lab.
Learn
the
basic
components
of
a
desktop
computer.

Repair

Repairing
old
books,
taping
new
and
old
books.

6:
Presentations

Tasks/Topics:
You
will
demonstrate
basic
competency
using
PowerPoint,
Google
Docs,
Prezi,
and
xtranormal.
You
will
learn
how
to
incorporate
graphs
into
a
few
presentation
tools.
We
will
go
over
some
basic
Dos
and
Don’ts
for
presentations.

Final
Project

you

learned
