7. Once you have lowered the level of the
background music, you can record your
voice over.
8. Click the red,
circular Record
button, and a
new track will
open and begin
to record
immediately
9. To pause recording, push Spacebar, click on the
blue Pause button, or click on the yellow Stop
button
To resume recording on the same track, hold
shift and click on the red Record button again
10. Record your
new audio
in the lull
you created
earlier
Or record it
anywhere,
and drag it
where you
want it with
the
Time Shift
tool
11. Export the entire file,
or use the Selection
tool to choose a
piece of the file to
export
(Make sure you select your
imported file as well as your
recording – you’ll have to drag the
tool from one to the other)
