2. We used the heartbeat effect to create more tension whilst filming,
without it the scene we chose to use for this heartbeat would have been
dull, and it wouldn’t have had an effect on the audience, also as it is a
thriller we were aiming to make it as suspenseful and dramatic as
possible therefore we included this effect.

3. We also used music technique to build and create suspense in our film.
Our music as will be heard below starts off quiet and mysterious. As it
develops it continuously builds up volume and pace, creating tension
and drama. In the end it slowly cuts off and the volume gradually
disappears. We used this as I was entering the kitchen, the audience was
expecting something to happen but instead the music cut off symbolising
nothing being in the kitchen.
