The kind of media institution might distribute surrounding our film title ‘Operation Croak’, will be
formatted in DVD and filming this is suitable for our action film and It’s led by Columbia Pictures
Cooperation as the company relates to most action films: Mission Impossible, James Bond films,
Bourne Identity, Rush Hour 2 and Bad Boys 2.These are the major films that I choose that categorises
well with our film ‘Operation Croak’, as it relates well with the assassination films on the settings,
props and costumes used in the filming to the major blockbusters films relating to action and thriller
genre.
For funding wise it would be led by the British Film Institute as it promotes filming in the UK, but
Operation Croak will lack advertisement as the filming production is local, therefore it benefits the
format in DVD, compared to Columbia Pictures which are a big organisation. However, a negative
impact is that our film will not be a blockbuster as the funding will be low, and it lacks advertisement
and that cannot beat other main retailers in the Industry of action. Other main competitors to
action is comedy, documentaries and Romance as they are producing films that are far and beyond
our expectations such as The Social Network, Bad Boys 2 and Men in Black which are amazing films,
that made huge sums of money.
